I have the same issue with the event. Just bought more tokens and now I can't use them. Please help BBQuote:

No event merchant here either. A lot of angry players online right now. I don't have a dog in this hunt since I only have 2 tokens, but other guild members are not happy campers.
And it is 10:18 pm here on July 20th.
If you visit the island of someone who still has access to the merchant yours should come back. My wife just got hers back this way. 10:34 PM CST

flood them with tickets!!!!
they are re-opening the event and the market until 5:59 pm EDT, 2:59 pm PDT , but I guess it doesn't help if they took all the tokens...
Thanks for the great letdown BB... Had to buy tokens off the market because the gems I had I couldn't change over to tokens. Then had to ask somebody to buy them for me. The event was nice but the end killed it all together.... Let put a better plan of action in when we go to end events next time.
