4 Years Today --Happy Birthday TC !
Today marks the 4th Anniversary of the founding of The Creators guild (29 July 2011) -- the first US server player(s) created guild, and the longest surviving active guild. Guild chat still runs 90 miles an hour most days and evenings, and you will find many of us popping in and out of the various chat tabs across the game.
We have been responsible for many firsts in the game on the US Zeus server, and still enjoy helping to set the pace; albeit more behind the scenes these days. Gone are the Closed Beta days with no guild chat, where Sir Roy (now Epsilon Silver) put our entire guild on his ignore list because we were having just way too much fun in global chat; our beloved and notorious badger, Vigilance, no longer streaks through the game with or without his kilt depending on his mood; many of our players who were among the 1st to hit L50 have long since retired from the game, and those of us who dedicated many hours and resources into producing some of the first guides, battle simulators, and resource calculators have long ago passed the torch to others, but we've continued to gain other fun new players who keep us laughing and allow us all to see the game through fresh eyes. Our Archmage has forgotten more about the game than most of the Devs will ever know, hence our own nickname for him: WikiArch.
Guilds are the backbone of the game. There are many great guilds in the game, and today on our 4th Anniversary as we celebrate, we also salute you all.
