Umm.. What is going on with the event resources?

A little while ago, there was a big event to get help get rid of your old event resources, and introduced a new event resource which would be used in all upcoming events. But all the info coming from test server about the Halloween event, are showing pumpkins as the resource.. What about the Tokens?

Tokens were just a means of cleaning up the stash of previous resources and were themselves purged from the game after the special event. Everything now seems to have reverted to the standard event resources, which can only be used during a single event. And balloons.
