I've never had anything particularly valuable that I wanted to sell....until now, hoping to sell an Angel Gate in the Trade Office.
But...the highest coin it will let me charge is 250k...a friend of mine seems to have a cap of 180k. This limit does not appear to be storage-related, does anyone know how this mechanic works?
Is it an intentional cap? Or some other way of dealing with large amounts of coin that behaves differently than other storage items?

The cap may be related to your actual inventory of coins.
You can only fit as much as your storage allows you to, so if you have 10'000 in storage with a capacity of 250'000, you can only select up to 240'000 worth of said resource.
That's how I had assumed it would work, but I have a max storage of about 417,000, and only have 14,000 coins. So, I would have thought I'd be ok up to 403,000...but it seems to cap me at 250,000.

Yeah, that's what I'll do. I was more curious to see if anyone knew what the mechanic was/why there's a cap that is not the same as the storage cap.
I am not having that problem W1lson. I can list anything for up to what free space I have in my storehouse.
