bug in some daily quests

I have cancelled this guild quest a ½ dozen times.. yet as soon as i refresh or log back in it’s back again.

it stay cancelled

screenshots attached — 1st shows the 2 quests - 1 active and one waiting.
2nd shows the ‘cancel are you sure button’ - i choose YES every time (check mark)… 3rd shows there is NO active quest but the waiting quest did not upgrade to current….then a min or two later it was actually the active quest (honey issue).

refresh - check again - marble bridge is BACK…

Any other guild leaders having this issue??

Yep we're having the same problem. Put a ticket in this past Wednesday about it. What's really weird is when it shows up canceled on my screen, other guildies still have it as an open quest. Ours is also the GQ requiring Nords, wonder if there's a connection or if it's all GQ's?

Seems to be the same. We have the nords one, officers tried cancelling to no avail. Most of us have done it in the meanwhile.

I'm glad this is a forum post now, I was going to start one myself.

We've been getting nothing but lip service and disinformation from support and in-game Blue Byte staff members.

You've dumped your 'XXL' beta content on us - now fix the problems that started occuring before this update. How it is that you can say in a support ticket response that, "If we don't hear back from you in 48 hours, we'll assume this has been resolved", is beyond my comprehension. You know it's broke - fix it.

It's broken for everyone in LoAr on the Ares server as well. 85 people. I personally didn't submit a ticket because I thought that it was so widespread that BB was aware of it. Maybe not............

My old guild (THH) use to be able to kick OPEN status peeps to complete GQ's. now we can't even cancel the GQ. it keeps coming back when refreshed. Guess its a week to two week wait until the following GQ reset takes place. Sadly was one of the things I looked forward to doing daily. Now it may be a game killer for me and my $$.

This type of Level-1 Support began in the early 1990's... High level techs print some 'canned' responses, hire an inexperienced "tech", and walk away. So, the new "tech" shovels out these responses frustrating the average consumer to give-up. This type of support is not limited to ftp/ptw games, even Microsoft and Oracle 1st level support are essentially receptionists with stacks of canned responses.

I do like that note though, like the problem mysteriously fixes itself... lol That is unique to BB.

It is always a good idea to submit a ticket; if nothing else, the volume of similar complaints/problems will garner somebody's attention.

The issue with the guild quests not cancelling has been reported on both servers. We have submitted the problem to the developers and they are looking into the problem. We will try to keep everyone updated as we receive feedback from the developers about the problem. The guild quests otherwise appear to be completing normally; it is only attempting to cancel them that is the ongoing issue.

This is not our issue. Our guild quest is completed - the number of members required to complete = the number of members completed, and yet it sits.

I have had the issue with not being able to cancel GQ's as well.

My current issue however is that I have a GQ that I have fulfilled the requirements for twice over (trade for 1000 water). However, it is still showing as incomplete. Could this issue be related to the GQ cancelling bug?

It might be ARM1, but the buying/selling{also buffing and donating} guild and daily quests are broken. Thankfully the buying/selling one has a work around. Have someone else do the trades. If you send the trades for whatever reason it does not recognize it. If someone else sends them to you it seems to be working normally.

For 3 days I have buffed 10 buildings with fish platters and 1 solid sandwich on friend's buildings. JUST did another 10 fish platters and it's STILL not registering as completed!!

Also, the 'Welcome Travelers: Target Practice' is green lined as complete, yet I can't collect the rewards!!

VERY VERY frustrating!!

Please fix ASAP so that I can clear these quests and move on.

Yup, it is broke all right. Buff dailies and guild quests are not working. Submit a ticket.

We are finding that many of the daily quests, where it asks for you to buy or sell x number of resources, require 10x the amount asked for to successfully complete the DQ.

Confirmed dqs involve 100 titanium ore and 200 bread. Suspected dq involved 100 horses.

The ore would not complete following a trade of 100 and 500 ore. It completed on 1000 ore traded.
The bread did not complete on 200 or 500 bread. It completed on 2000 bread.
The horses did not complete on 100 or 500 horses. no attempt was made to go higher, the dq was just cancelled.

Yes, my guild mate had the bug on trade 100 Steel. We sent the trades back and forth nearly a dozen times before it registered.

I have a DQ bug on buffing three buildings on a friend's island "Help For Those in Need" - I've buffed several building on more than a dozen islands, even tagged a dozen collectibles and nothing has registered. Has been stuck like this since last weekly maintenance 3 days ago. Just deleted daily quest, got tired of waiting for a fix. I've talked to 4 other people on Zeus server that have the issue on same, or similar, buff DQs.

Multiple threads about the daily/guild quests have been merged.

200 coins quest did not complete for me after thousands of coins, so I just deleted it.

and with the merge my recent post was deleted?

Daily quest is not completing, even though I have fulfilled the requirements (buff at least one friend's building). I buff many buildings in the course of a day of all sorts of different types.

PS - How does something that was working well for so long suddenly stop working?! I would understand when it is a new/improved feature. :confused:

The GQ is another problem that we are currently investigating.

OK -- so a SECOND maintenance has passed and STILL This is not fixed. This should be top priority to fix ... quests are the Point of the game and we can't complete them???? (and of course the server game us marble bridge again :/)

Its not listed in next weeks patch notes as on the fix list...

based on this - so far i'm out personally 1582 guild coins already... add 2 more weeks and its another 1582 guild coins... 100 coins when you reset doesn't make up for this.

(100 guild for each guild completing the quest daily, then 13 (thats what we get personally) for each individual completing).

So you're aware, it's not just gq... i couldn't complete my daily yesterday either - which was buy 200 coins... i bought 200 coins from a guildie - nada - no completion. I also sold 2 items for coins in the t/o - (way more than 200 coins) and it didn't complete either -- there's no real other way to 'buy' something.
