Poll numbers show about 3 to 1 in favor of event resources, yet the posts here seem to show the opposite trend. Maybe some people voted without thinking things through completely first.
BB, there are some good insights here that should all be carefully considered before making hasty changes.

I do agree with the price hike.... Just as you said, people will ask an arm and a leg in trad for a wee bit of grout. (( Do to the 600 gem price to buy only 200 worth of grout. )) I did like that they put it up in the Christmas event. that helped but still not easy to come up with presents to buy all that we need for the upgrades of the new improved watermill. farms silos and many other items.... so, i do like guild coins but if they make the resource worth the trouble of going after it... for the event... i dont mind.... :)

Wow - I agree 100% with you on this one. BB did not care about player's desire, they had this stinking event take-over from the beginning. This vote was a complete sham and already decided. I was talking with lots of players and from the informal count it was a 2:1 in favor of keeping guild coin (I only considered those in guilds) and the vote here shows almost 3:1 against.
