Is the "Enhanced Silo" the same thing as the "Improved Silo" in the merchant?
Looks good and should be fun. Looking forward to it!! This will be my fifth Easter event...... either BB's doing something right, or I need to get out more!
That sounds bad, but to be fair, IotP is an easy map. Hopefully this means the hard maps will be giving out up to 150.
Island of the Pirates is easy after a while, not so much when you're little. Remember doing it old school?

From Tage's guide in the Killste collection: here.
Evil_J's regular tavern gen guide: here, with XBows and two blocks, can also be a challenge.
The new "fair" balance really does seem to be weighted against newer players while The Ancient Ones and the juggernauts will likely be fine regardless. Cutting the drops so substantially reads less as fair and more like the goal is fewer (free) eggs to go round overall.
Looks like we need even more eggs than last year, but that there are fewer eggs to get.
I sure do hope all the horrible bugs that still plague test get worked out. I suppose the Dev Diary makes it final that there will be no floating residences this year.
In better news. Another explorer and another MOMA = heaven.
will there be a gem sale before the event starts??
of course, maybe
Pity they won't do a 300% sale.
lol
BB should seriously consider fixing the move/replace buildings issue(s) introduced with the last Game Update. The introduction of additional new buildings during the Easter event will only compound this!
Players will not be happy to find when buildings are moved or torn-down and replace with new improved versions that some of their building sites are no longer available requiring rearrangement of entire Sectors in some instances... There will be more player consternation caused by the spread of this bug!

No response?
As data is trickling in from the testers on the test server, and now this dev diary, this Easter event is looking very good! While those of us that have been here for years and are working our way up the new levels may complain about the cut the eggs in the "easy" adventures, I like that. It means that trading lootspots to get more eggs will be common, just like Halloween, and encourage cooperation. So the losses per egg will be higher, but remembering all the complaints from last year about the small amount of eggs when trying to help others (friend or guildie) get eggs, I like this better.
One thing I am disappointed about though is that they put in an improved butcher before an improved hunter. You started at the bottom of the bread chain with the silo, now the farm. Why didn't you do the same with the meat? Why did you jump to the top of the chain? It does mean that making those few sausages I use for explorers will be easier to make now.
I love the idea of the party crashers. It gives something else for us to do during the event besides spam adventures and/or expeditions. Not sure about the pricing on the truce offers, but I guess it is no different than the golem at Halloween.
Just please make it so that we get ALL of the Easter quests this year. There were a number of people that got duplicated quest lines and couldn't get the last achievement because of that. Setup an array and add a bit if this quest line was sent then use it to do a check before running the rng for the next quest line or something that double checks.
Yes for getting something for achievement points besides just the points and level to the building. It is nice to be rewarded with something, even if it is something I will never use.
Good job BB! Another event where we will have to work for everything and not just get it all handed to us within the first week. Though some of us still might come close.
Now please fix the issue with moving buildings before or at the start of the event. I know BB_Endesmor posted they were looking into it in the thread about that changelog, but sooner is better. The last thing we need is these new buildings and hestitation in placing them because of this issue.
I can't see an improved hunter for the simple fact that they already have the deerstalker hut.
Is there no intention to respond to my direct question, BB_Endesmor?
So...Endesmor is gone - no longer moderating forums, and so is the post about the 'rebalancing' of the adventure loot, at least as far as my searches offer me. Is there a Blue Byte employee that can tell us why the adventure loots were changed in order to prevent the 'sufferage' of others? Or shall we move forward with our imaginations?
There certainly is a lot of confusion running wild in the chat tabs with the Party Crasher camps and what or how many buffs to place if you take that route. Any chance next year you can set up the buffs like they are in most scenarios where you click on the camp and it has that dropdown thing where you select what to use, or would that conflict with the military option?
Also there is quite a flaw in the buff system early on. The daily "Lend a Hand" quest asks you to place 4 buffs. With the first camp 2 buffs will kill it, 3 for the second. So you need to hit two friends, and if you are swapping it makes it impossible to for everyone to get their hits which just leads to problems with people hating people.
That's a daily quest? Already ignored it yesterday. I'm not sure I'm going to not ignore it today.
How about a female super MMA, too?
I know there are far more serious issues with bugs affecting Generals and building movement, etc., etc., etc. than this; but...
Could you provide a check box option in the pop-up for the new Spacious (Elite) Storehouse to change the roof color skin from the original shade of purple gray (mauve) to something more compatible with existing buildings? Suggested options such as: original color; Gold, the Green of the Fairytaie Castle; the Platinum of the level 5 Manor or Mahogany Sawmill, etc. ?
See: [ http://settlersonlinewiki.eu/en/buildings/elite/ ]
It currently sticks out like a purple thumb!
Which is a shame because the rest of the building is a nice traditional European post and beam design that is nice looking.
And really, shouldn't an Elite Storehouse at least have a Green, Gold, or Platinum finish... Aesthetics do count for something.
I actually like the purple roof. It makes it very distinct.
upgrading easter storage house -- doesnt increase any storage space (tearing it down however decreases!)
I took a screen shot at lvl 2... just upgraded to lvl 3 - no change in storage space.
Forget the bridge, I'd like my 160 eggs for the explorers that came home empty after the even was over.
agreed honnalea.. 1 explorer that came home after the event had eggs... then they did their mini maint and poof all other explorers i deliberately sent BEFORE the end came home empty.
It says in the dev dairy they will not. They learned from spreading that lie last event not to tell it again. :p
Idea for future events... Offer premium time for event resources..
Once in a blue moon, you get to buy premium using tons of event resources...
