Running Riches of the Mountain and only received 3/4 Firewood Collectibles required to make 'Dynamite' buffs. Unable to complete scenario.

I thought that these issues were resolved last year.
In running the scenario 'Where Do the Easter Eggs Come From?' , after removing the polecats and catching frightened chickens, the polecats were back on the nests, I didn't have the chickens I had caught to place on the nests. Unable to finish the scenario. Is there a way to recover the eggs I spent for the scenario?
