Generals - To pop up or not to pop up... that is the question

So there are players out there that want gens to pop up on the map in certain areas only.

Some want gens to pop up on their own island that can fit them all.

Some use the star menu to find the gens they want to load and care little where they pop up, so long as they don't take up a building space.

So my suggestion to BB is this.

Have the gens like the Geologist and Explorers. Allow players to load/unload the gens even if they are not placed on the map. Have gens only appear on the island if the player wants them there. The same goes for when on an adventure. Gens that didn't pop up on the map can be placed anywhere in the sectors that's theirs instead of the very few green zones some adventures has despite a vast amount of space available (FT landing zones). This would also mean gens don't automatically unload if they don't fit... I've been annoyed that my gens get back home or to an adventure and not fit so they unload. Than I'm left with finding a place by moving gens around to make them pop up and than reloading troops again... some players might not like that, but there is already a mass unload button so... take the good with the bad I guess.

This allows players who want their gens to be in 1 spot only, or those that don't care, and help those with space issues because the gen doesn't need to be loaded on the island to place troops in them. It's not going to make everyone happy because 7 billion people in this world are never happy 100% of the time with the same thing.

It's a suggestion many have brought up and I'm bringing it back up to pester BB with.
