Did I miss something? Chocolate Rabbit and Barazek can be dropped by friends now? How about Pralines, Sergeant Skunks and the like?

Nope, have to land them on your island first then load and send.

so that makes this new 'star' menu option for gens useless in my opinion... since i STILL need to reserve space for them to load them up.

Pretty much. Have to agree. Though, those who were unable to banish their marshals can do so now.

Kick out will be, when they are completely out of the star menu :D
That's is what I'd like for my marshals, who were already off the island.

Uh. I didn't want him to go there. Now I need to wait for him to disassemble his camp and walk to storage before I can walk him back out again. Guess I need to be really careful what button I'm pressing. But that big button with the star on it is so enticing. I keep clicking that stupid thing.

Moments later. So, how do I go back to that adventure I left off at before I logged out? Try reopening it in the quest menu I guess. Oh, that's what happens. The whole screen freezes. Refresh. Gone again? Surely if I try to reenable it again, it will turn out differently. At least here the simple resolution is to just use the interface from the quest menu and not try to pin it.

Agreed, a preferred thing would be a way to either remove them from the star or re arrange them

"General Unload to Star Menu" button

can we get a confirmation box for this or MOVE the button to some other location.

It's next to the 'okay' button and I've accidently hit that button a few times and it's a huge waste of time watching the general walk to some edge of the map just to go back to the star menu.
