BB_SarrunahHappy Settling,
interesting, some sneak peaks maybe? Is this going to be just additional quests, new adventures, or a totally new game function ( like an adv/expedition)???.
i really loved the crisis quests that you had in 2013, but they seemed to have been washed out of existence... wish there were 10-20 you could have cycled every week to keep some change / option to the game...(obviously these cant be coded in a day i get that, and rewards lessened, but 3 years later).
all i can say is burning the same adventures for 2-3 months between the main 4 events gets monotonous fairly fast :p
I love the fact that we're seeing more frequent communication. Thank you BB_Alex for taking the time to do these dev blogs.
I'm hoping that at some point the entire staff at BB realizes that nobody (aside from Raubhautz) likes Secluded Experiments, so making it a required task in Pathfinder quests, or even dropping them in adventure searches is a waste for everyone, development staff and players, all the way around.
I'm looking forward to seeing what new things develop as time goes on. Hope some new adventures (without 5 minute walks for generals in each direction) are included. I might complain and get cranky about bugs sometimes, but I do love this game and am happy to see continued improvements. Thank you.
I agree with Perwyn, new adventures without the long walks would be great. I also hope PvP will be kept separate for the majority of us who do not play that mode. New deco/pop buildings would be great. Some smaller footprint buildings would be nice as well to help with some of the odd shape spots on the map.
As someone who actually is an Expedition player, I hope to see a bit more with it in the future. Since it's not too popular, I don't expect much. Just give us a few more things to spend valor points (may I suggest a new adventure general or building; something that may drive more people to play around with it), and maybe give us a couple new maps with a couple of new enemies on it.
Beginning to look like a gathering of the old-timers.....
I run expeditions too, and some additions there would be welcome. It's nice to have different things to do. Run a few Ali adventures, switch over to expeditions while elites rebuild..... so yes please, some new content there.
Also, Ornias mentioned pop buildings. It would be great to have another building that blends well with the terrain like pirate huts do. I've never liked FM's (I know.... what a heretic) cause they stick out like a sore thumb in our lush green islands. So please, some variety in pop buildings.
Still say, "No!" to expeditions... mostly on principle; how dare they call themselves 'PvP'. Please. That system is no more PvP than Solitaire. Also the need for a 2nd set of generals does not encourage me either, nor distributing troops along another path (3 now if your running AB's).
I do agree with Perwyn and Ornias in regards to pop buildings.... FM, though efficient, are ugly. I used to have 170 Pirate Residences for pop, until they had to be replaced with WT and the like for population reasons. And those dang AB's are not dropping pop buildings for me... have to stick with RB for now, I suppose.
This dev. blog is nice and all but does not really say anything. I for one never had a problem with the idea of the Pathfinder, but the horribleness of the quests it asks.
as for the last part i think it would be better to have a seperate island for the gens an marshals insteadf of sending them to star menu. to use them we still have to bring them out of star an space is at a premium for those of us who are lvl 50 an higher
