Great, I've been looking forward to another crisis quest, can't wait to see what the rewards are. Thanks!
Sounds interesting . Waiting to here more.
It's not my birthday, but this crisis quest present will sure be fun.
This'll be my first crisis quest...what would happen if I jump tiers part way into it? (I'm Lv. 35 right now) Would I get quests from the next tier?
WooHoo!
Not a good time to have just hit lvl 46
great name for a quest, hopefully the rewards are good and not like on the 2 previous crisis events
+1
I am looking forward to it - and the biggest thing I hope is that it's somewhat balanced cost vs rewards or has a decent number of gems at the end to justify the cost.
Second thing - as a level 65, I am really hoping there is no expectation for level 51-53 to complete an AB adventure or level 54-55 to complete anything but woodcutter. There is a massive difference in the time in barracks and effort required for these adventures for me versus any player under 57 (except for woodcutter at 56) and with few loot spots in the Babas, you can't buy one to complete a requirement.
Either way - good or bad - it's new content, yay!
ugh
I didn't care for the other two. Had to build buildings I didn't want and did an adv 9 times to get titanium or something. If it's like that I don't have the time.
A heads up would have been nice, both for those upgrading and those with multi week queues in the elite barracks.
Is this a secret event? I've heard nothing and saw nothing about it other than the spammy guild message I got a day or two ago. When sending back asking about it, no one knew anything about it or at least couldn't/couldn't reply. When I signed in today, I got to see it and eventually followed links to get here. This has been going on for how long now? For a week or so know all I've been seeing when signing on is about the game update. Can those of us who weren't privied on the first two parts do the 3rd one?
don't fret yet
Wow! I've never done one of these before. Looks like fun. Thank you for putting this together.
I´m looking forward to it, its my first crisis Quest, and it´s just the right week for me, being on eary shift at work, which gives me more time online :-D
The contents of the quests will not be provided in advance of the event. The only information being provided is in the developers diary that can be found here. The event is open to all active players, and is not linked to participation in any of the previous crisis quest events.
I have been around for a bit and this will be my first as well. Looking forward to something to mix it up while pushing on in XXL. I like the idea of surprising the players and not making everything planned in advance. Bring it on!
This sounds awesome! I have not done a crisis quest before, so do yo have to use troops to fight anything, or not?
I'm interested in this. Never done a Crisis event before so I'm not sure what to expect but that seems to be the tone of the event anyway.
TY for releasing more content.
attempted to finish previous ones, but no luck - quest demanded certain amount of resources drop from hard to get adventures and adventures weren't dropping any. I completely exhausted my resources trying to finish the quests. I hope this one will not be as impossible to complete as the previous ones.
I hope it asks us to do colonies. :p
I enjoy challenges, and this one was GREAT! Nice scaling of quests and steps to individual level. And it was not too difficult to do with RL.
Level 51 doesn't have the levels to do Ali Baba and can only really collect tiny amounts of Elite items from the islands. If it requires either of those, (or Grout for that matter) it won't be too feasible. Now if it's limited to Expert items like the Beans, then it may be okay.
Suggested level bands for future events of this type - based on access to military units (I'm sure there is some building access that may adjust this a little, but here's my shot at it):
15 to 22 (recruits 15, bowman 17, militia 18)
23 to 35 (cav 23, longbow 25, soldiers 27)
36 to 47 (crossbow 36, elite soldiers 41)
48 to 53 (cannons 48)
54 to 62 (elite units beginning at 54)
63 to 75 (has access to all current deposits, etc, should have higher buildings established and somewhat upgraded)
Anyway, I expect the above is probably a more realistic set of bands where military adventures are concerned.
Wonders if the guide will catch up to the event?
I'm at level 57 and just now getting comfortable with the entry level Ali Baba, so I expect if there's an adventure task it would have to be fairytale (which don't score any points for the ability to be completely quickly) or epic. I'd be totally fine having to run a bunch of Black Knights, depending how much at the mercy of RNG the quests are.
Eww, the final building reward is different depending on what level you are? No thanks.
I think you need to reconsider the final reward by level. I am getting a deerstalker, which is awesome, but the lower levels get a granite pit which is just not that useful. A building that produces free resources vs a building that needs refills?
After looking ahead at the rewards and what is required to get there. I don't think this event is worth the effort.
Especially the tier 51-65

Where you pay 3000 granite, 4500 horses and 3750 exotic wood. Sorry, but I don't think it's worth paying that for deerstalker.

Compared to past Crisis Quests, this one is about 1,000% better, at least for my level. I think BB paid attention to the feedback from past CQ's and did a pretty good job with this one. Thanks!
