Feedback on Star Menu filtering

Specialist? Filter Options



Can you add in 3 filter options: "Generals Only", "Explorers Only", "Geo Only".

Usually when I'm doing something, I don't need to see ALL the specialist.

I only want to see ONE TYPE. In fact if you could just put that in the bottom as a new tab that'd be great. We don't need to lump all the specialist together. There is already an "ALL button".

Better to add a new icon to the tab for each of the 3 types.

OR if you're running out of space and don't feel like expanding the star menu window WIDER.

How about just add 3 side bar tabs (vertical tabs along the left hand side for each of the 3 types).

This would be way more useful to directly access each of the 3 types rather than having to TYPE them or scroll through them.

easy, just rename them so they stack like you want them........

Have you tried the test server yet?


I mean there is NO point in having generals, geos, and explorers all lumped into the same menu.

They already divided the adventures and buildings.

Why not do that with Specialists.


I mean, when you're looking for resources on your island, do you need to see the generals or explorers? Why scroll through a list to access them.

Even if you 'named them a certain way. You will always end up scrolling either to the middle of the list to access the type in middle.



Like I said, I don't need to see all 3 types in one box and dealing with scrolling.

Well if you're going to add in a feature - why do it half-***?

I mean the new feature isn't that super fantastic, the only thing great is the dividing up of adventures and buildings. Why stop there?

If I won the lottery, the taxes taken out is a given. No need to complain, you know what you're getting before it comes out.

This is a new feature that is in development and it's called FEEDBACK.

We're giving developers feedback so they can actually put in adjustments.

So take the time to give them feedback.

I just looked at it and it's 7 items wide now so the 40 something gens are almost all there without even scrolling, and if scrolling down once or twice to get to the desired specialist is too much, then can't comment much on that

You realize there are also 'marshals' and explorers and geos right? You'd have to Scroll either past one of those types to get to the middle type.

You 'could' hit filter type UP and DOWN arrow to put one of the 2 types to the top of the list. But the type that is in middle is where you have to scroll through one type to get to the middle one.


Like I said, no reason not to add in TAB filter on the side of the menu box to easily access these types.


Not sure why you're "defending" or "advocating" against having additional features when this is the time to actually give them feedback, since they're working on it.

Certainly things could be improved more, BUT, the current wider and bigger Star Menu is already looking so awesome, I'd say ship this thing right away, and then continue other improvements...

Can we send all explorers or geos at the same time? I know that that is cutting 2001 flash game tech, but still...

Searching is nice, and sorting is very welcome.

1 Jolly Geologist appears at the top of the sort by name list. 2 Lucky Explorer appears below all of the 1 things. That works fine for me.

Would be nice if the sort option stuck until you change it, rather than going back to default when you logout.

+1 on send multiple specialists all at once.

Yes Ornias! Sending geos and explorers to do same task - could work like the send army to adventure menu. You chose the task and then menu pops up with all the goes/explorers and you just click how many you want to do this task. Instead of wrecking our wrists 2ice a day:P

Yea sending geos OR just option to select multiple Geo and choose what to send. Same with explorers. Select multiple type and issue orders. Since some explorers you want to send out artifacts etc or adventures.

The pin star menu is nice but is broken when you choose a general. The Star Menu closes.

I would think that the functionality already mostly exists because of generals.
