I would suggest implementing this idea on the RPH, Barracks and Elite Barracks (and any other queue'd building I am forgetting) as well.
Hello,
Thanks for the suggestion. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Happy commenting,

Perfect example of a great idea that needs to be implemented soon please.
This was discussed in an earlier thread.
any queued building we should be able (and have requested to) do the following;
1 - delete all of one kind from queue
2 - move any item to bottom or top of queue (think of guild quests etc that demand something to be built or made and you already have 10 days worth of bread people going)
3 - ability to move 1 type of item to top or bottom of queue
4 - ability to clear queue
cb
Make sure to add it to the bookbinder queue.
We need a button to move an order to the top in Provision House, Rarity Provision House, Barracks, and Elite Barracks.
The existing button only moves it up one slot, which takes a half hour to get it to the top, and then if you visit someone, go to adventure, or log off, it drops back to its original position. It takes almost as long to delete all the orders to place the needed order and then replace all the orders again, but it is slightly quicker than moving an order up. This is a major time-consuming inconvenience.
We need a button to move an order to the next-in-line position.
agree. agree. agree.
thumbs up, can't agree more
+1.
Yes please, I hate moving items in a que one space at a time
I just loaded my provision house last night with 3 days of work orders to make deer food. Only to get a "make one Golden Brew Mug" as a guild quest this morning. Can you geniuses figure how to make a feature in provision house to move the last order you make straight to the top (underneath current order in making)? Instead of manually moving the brew mug order through 3 days worth of orders?
My clicking hand would be so much happier, as I am sure the community would. Thanks.
Well, this goes without saying, maybe in 2 years, we only got graced with mass barracks/PH loading "recently", so another key feature like that will be the bone thrown our way at some later stage.
I've started to be careful of how many and what I load my stuff with. Regular PH never gets loaded past 7pm my time as that's when my GQs roll in, and then I pretty much have a 24h window again. RPH usually gets Feasts for double max sliders without worries. Barracks is a similar story, I try not que more than 1k+ units (Recruits...) at a time while on adventures, in case a block fails or whatever autopiloted reason, otherwise I'll make what I need in due time and then fill up losses and slide until happy.
....if X'ing stuff wouldn't also leave you with this 2s delay like buffing and be accompanied with lag spikes, I'd take that for a workaround too, but that ain't happening either.
Ditto. So many times I got to do the same thing. Apparently, BB devs never q more than couple of buffs to make. If they did, they would know the pain of moving the crap you need 30 times to the top.
@BB, any movement on this?
I have been deleting (because that's faster than trying to move a new item up) for the past 30 minutes and I am only halfway through my PH queue. I need to make one blasted golden mug for GQ and it's going to take an hour just to get the darn thing into today's queue. This is an incredibly annoying experience to do a simple GQ.
I agree... and it totals baskets etc.. but not bandits??
even just a number box that allows you to bump up pin cue would be good, especially with elite troops
I agree.
My thought is that you install a button to empty the barracks or Provisions House queues completely.
The up down arrow is not a good idea if you have a lot of things in queue all the time.
A click to empty the queue would help when I need my PH for a quest or venture and have 5 days of steaks or feasts cooking.
Also in the barracks, I generally have 4-5k recruits cooking and when the unforeseen loss of troops occurs, it would be nice to just reset the queue to add the needed troops.
I quite often find myself clicking one by one, every 5 second, hundreds of orders so I can place new orders. Tell me this does not contribute to lag :-)
I think there are two main trains of thought here:
1) People who want a "MOVE <the selected item> TO THE TOP OF THE QUEUE" button (which would clearly only move it to the NEXT to the top, since the top item is actually in production)
2) People who want an "EMPTY THE QUEUE" button
Personally, I would opt for: http://static.cdn.ubi.com/0034/int/g...hite_black.png
3) Both
There's times I would like to simply bump something ahead of my queue and I absolutely do NOT want to wipe the queue out (such as for a quest), and times when I wouldn't mind wiping out the whole queue to start over. The first is probably something I personally would use far more, but I can see the need for the second.
we still need this, please add a button to move an order up to the next in line spot.
we need this on provision house, rarity provision house, barracks, and elite barracks.
very much agreed!
I would gladly settle for a "cancel"all button and start again.
Yes, we've asked for this for a long time. Given that we can already change the production order I can't imagine that it would take much work to tweek it to do what the players are asking for. And honestly, I can't think of a reason why BB wouldn't do it.
yes to all of the above, move to top or cancel.
thx srs :)
Yes, please add button to clear all or move to the top of the queue for PH, RPH, barracks and elite barracks. We have needed this for so long...
Some solution other than single stepping through the queue really needs to be added to the game. Many excellent solution options have been stated here.
Agreed on both options.
1) Move to top (or second in queue)
2) Cancel/Clear Queue
And, here's a 3rd option
3) Drag-n-Drop the order (with also the possibility of resizing the window to make it easier to drag/drop)
or
3a) Have a numbered list with a text box with the number in it, and by replacing that number with a different number in the queue, puts it in that slot and moves everything else down 1.
Example:
In the PH, we have 5 batches of 25 of Aunt Irmas. That would normally take about 20hrs to complete (depending on PH lvl). Also, we have a few batches of Stone->Marble, and maybe other stuff queued up. So, we have a total of, lets say, 20 items queued up.
We get a quest to make 25 Retired Bandits. The Bandits will drop into slot 21.
But if we had a changeable slot number, we could change the 21 to 2, and the Bandits jump to the top of the list.
Or, we are on an adventure and need to build several things to complete it; we change the number to 2, 3, 4 or what not.
Just some elaborate list of something simple :p
Kori
+1 for the ability to drag-drop things in barracks, provision houses, and one day hopefully the bookbinder *hint hint*
The ability to clear all too or move what's on the bottom to be next in line at the top
