I know you can get recipes now and directly craft them but what are the costs.

I know you can get recipes now and directly craft them but what are the costs.
The costs are about 1/3 more than the max cost they are now, which includes an extra book added to tome/codex, plus 100 beans/stalks/star coins. Quite reasonable. I'm not sure I'll bother with using the other two, but manuscripts is a no brainer.

Yeah, the tome one (second one) takes some 9 hours plus some stalks, intermediate paper, & lettersmith.
Where/how do you get the recipes?
Manuscript recipe is a possible reward for completing a long letter quest chain, tome for Evil Queen, and codex for detailed travel guides.
