This didn't seem clear on the removal phase... Maybe I missed it.
Will pumpkin cemeteries continue to produce pumpkins during removal phase I?
Is there a list already somewhere on how many refills we get from each adventure? Also what KingHomer asked? Can we continue using pumpkin refills until the merchant changes at absolute end of event or does all of that go away and if we have extra refills we basically forfeit ever being able to produce those pumpkins? I look forward to trying this method out, I just hope opportunity is there to collect as many pumpkins as I got last year....
Explorers finding pumpkins is awesome. That should ease the burden of them being so much harder to come by than other events.
16 hours is a lot harder to juggle than 24 hours, but I guess there's enough wiggle room if it's 20 golems in 21 days. At least people can keep pounding away it as many times as they want until you click complete.
Looking forward to another Dracul. He's only situationally useful, but I bring him with me on almost every adventure as a half MMA.
Improved deerstalker hut seems kind of gimped as a 2x rather than a 3x, but it is a nice addition. This is one case where I'll probably end up keeping the original buildings, although I'll be getting rid of my hunters.
My initial reaction to efficient traps was that I was not impressed with a 12 hour buff, but then I did the math and realized that even dropping it once a day makes it worthwhile.
for KeeshondRule and others:
our helpful friends at the euro-wiki site have compiled a list of what to expect regarding pumpkin refills:

as to your question KingHomer, i am reasonably certain the cemeteries will continue to produce for the full 4 weeks of the event PROVIDED THAT THEY HAVE ENOUGH REFILLS TO LAST THAT LONG......you have only the first 3 weeks to gather those refills...
take for example the noble punk cemetery....it has a cycle time of 40 minutes (not including travel time) --> each one needs 36 refills per day to keep producing --> you will have 3 of those guys --> a huge amount of adventuring to keep them all running for the duration.
On the bright side, according to the test server, punk refills are tradeable, but expected to sell at a premium to plain old punks....
The Halloween music is back! Time to turn on the music again!!!
hoping new general instant of that grim :(
i have to say i have never been so frustrated and disappointed with the developers of this game as i am right now halloween is the one event i look forward to all year and you have ruined it half the fun with these events is doing adventures with your friends and guildies but now instead of getting the event resource from adventures.. you handcuff us with refills and a limited/SLOW production making it almost impossible for most players to get all the goodies offered me and loads of players have been preparing for weeks to gather the resources needed to do multiple adventures daily and now all that time and effort has been wasted its bad delevoper descisions like this that make a guy want to pack up and invest time in another game im hoping you wont screw us at christmas
And a 100 new blocks n_nQuote:
Enemy camps will not have the aggro zone reactivated as long as the generals are queued in the attack process.
Ok.
On top of trade not working, no pumpkin collectibles on first spawn on my island.
Not the most auspicious start ever.
So.... given that the pumpkin farms and refills are a time-dependent way to gather pumpkins, and those of us with first-shift jobs will be starting work before the hotfix is over, will BB be giving us any means to make up for the collectibles we are unable to obtain?
Instead of building and buffing my pumpkin farms this morning before work, I will likely not be building them for 10-12 hours from now.
And no one from BB ever officially responded to my post about whether we can still farm pumpkins during phase I of the event removal, would still like an official response there for planning how many refills are needed.
Hi
The time for Rarity search seems to have been changed, is that what should have happened? Before when using the Lucky Exp it took a little bit over 6h.
Now its 8h?!?
I was all excited about jumping into this event and.... *BAM* If I could not make the collectible acheesement last year, this does not bode well...
Key is to set the bar really really really low, that way you'll never be disappointed
How low can you go ?
Troll-Phu does it like most of us. We are at the bottom of the barrel and then start digging. Or imagine BB is chasing you and your natural reflex is to, obviously, run away.
Thanks for the soothing Halloween music. Thanks lowing the pop ups so they do not cover the top bar.
One thing though, "The Forgotten" quest chain does not show the many subquests like all the other quests with subquests do. If you look at it it seems as though you just complete the first quest and you get the 100 pumpkins and the pumpkin patch decoration.
I already completely messed up. I put the quickest patches the farthest away. :(
I got pumpkins in my first spawn but got booted just as I was about to start actually looking.
So I gather that most of these achievements probably are not worth chasing after. I might try to get some of them.
The first year I played, I put the patches in completely the wrong locations and then had to wait until after the event to move all my buildings around after I realized my starting layout was terrible.
So here's my feedback after yesterday and today's time in this event.
Pumpkin patch refills are a bad concept as currently implemented.
I want to do things, then get rewarded. That's fun gameplay.
I do NOT want to do things and not get rewarded, nor do I want to get my 'reward' and plug it into another game feature that I have to actively manage that will then dole out my reward over time to me. It's overly complex, boring, annoying and frankly, no fun because even though I have to manage it via buffs and timing and such, it's not engagingly interactive the way some other elements of the game are.
So much about the event is good, but this one element is kinda taking away all the fun.
What happened to using lesser waters on the higher level golems? They said it was supposed to work that way and we were trying it on test.
Due to the 14 hour scheduled maintenance Oct 25th-26th, and
all the lost play time, lost loot, missed collectible drops, and lost search time,
lost guild coins, and lost crystals for west coast not being able to signi in.
BB should either extend the event one day or give everyone 500 pumkins.
Hope they fix the freezing and low drop rates too.
There will be tons of people that won't be able to log in today, which means no crystals for the next couple of days for them. Also this means we'll have nothing to do during the evening. A little more warning would have been good, so we could have prepared for this. I could have rearranged my explorers to end earlier and then do a very long search during the maintenance.
agreed, we should have 24 hours notice minimum.
Must be some kind of emergency for it to be so long and not be announced way ahead of time. Sometimes stuff just happens. Maybe all the freeze-ups are a symptom of why this maintenance has to happen right now?
You know, events used to be 4weeks, not they are only 3... then we get shelved throughout the event so we cannot work on it. Only those with tons of money can do much in this event, or perhaps ones that are literally on 24/7.
BB should extend the event by the amount of time we have lost to these 'maintenances'. Seriously.
would like to know if the refillers will also be gone at end of event, since it is more of a buff than straight up resource like pumpkin and the ones in the fields
Hello!
Refills, fertilizers, and remaining Halloween resources will be converted to coins during the deactivation phase.

follow-up question. Will the cemeteries go away too or can we keep them slept until next year?
Feeling like the fun of running adventures with each other for drops is a waste when we don't receive pumpkins every time. The refill choice was a poor decision this year round.
