I like it, although now that there are book recipes, I don't have the need I did for books that I did before. On test, they are talking about general skill trees, though, hopefully before I hit level 75.

I'd for one would love to see this offered. It would be a really nice quality of life improvement to support the changing needs and desires of the player base, as well as, the new additions/expansions the game has recently experienced . Books are a very time consuming endeavor, and a full "booked up" Geo represents a big time and resource commitment for players.

Many of us maxed out our explorers and geologists to be most effectively used based on the game BEFORE the new content was added, and now many of us would like to make some changes in the way that we've distributed those books in order to more effectively take advantage of the new content. And some newer players would like to make some changes simply because they now have a better understanding of the science system than they did when they started playing the game. BUT, it's really onerous to lose half of the books that we've taken so long to produce in order to to be able to do that.

So, would you please dig down in those big BB hearts and give us a few days to make some free changes to our science system? Thanks!

Great idea Dirkjon:) I myself made many mistakes as a young player and
still cannot rectify one of my geologist. He sits with all the book spaces taken but no codices.
When we do not know the game can make those type of mistakes. So I am +1 for this.

Oh yeah! Totally +1! This would go a long way towards player game relations.

Also - concerning this mistake that can and is easily made, perhaps a tooltip can popup once 10 Tomes are placed.

Update guys. One of my guildies copied my original post to one of of the euro servers and got this response:

"We had this question several times during GamesCom this year. The answer is: We do like the idea of a reskill event and would like to make one. This event won't reduce the costs for reskilling to 0 but should provide a big discount.

I can see this idea has gained a lot of support from our players! This is one of the reasons your feedback and suggestions are so important. The subject was discussed internally, and a special Science System Week is currently being considered for 2017. The idea is still in the planning stages, and we will communicate further details as they become available.
