Champion generals summary (level and play style) - still subject to change on test

From Test server (Champion generals as of now, they still might be changed). Credits to Bri0sheje for posting the summary and to many testers who spent hrs of testing them. Thank you!

"Further possible rulesets (I may change them later, but I feel confident about them):

- Nusala is good in old adventures, I would say that she is particularly shiny between level 1 and 48.
Reasons: She deals a significant damage at the very beginning, and eventually allows to face every single type of camp with a fair amount of losses. Comparable to a veteran or similar, even a major in some situations. More powerful than an MMA in almost every situation as far as I could see.

- Anslem seems to be an excellent choice between level 48 and 54.
Reasons: Foxes in fairytales becomes puppies, and most fairytales units damage gets killed by 50% in therms of damage (except some though, which gets decreased by a 20 to 30%). Having such a bonus allows Anslem to be a good choice almost everywhere, and will deal perfectly on any single camp having foxes, which is your current nightmare at this level range.
Also, Anslem won't tell you such, but he will be silently killing every enemy weak unit every single round, as he deals 1k-1.5k (50% accuracy) splash damage on the weakest troup. That means that every round, when the normal units will attack, he will kill, in the WORST scenario, 200 guard dogs or 33 foxes per round. Because you won't be able to use cavalry units when there are foxes, this is a great point that is worth mentioning.

- Vargus seems to be an excellent choice for any Ali adventures:
Reasons: He perfectly fits what is missing in some camps: The possibility to use both Armored Marskmen and Mounted Marksmen when the enemy has troups with "attack weakest". Even in fairytales he might be useful, but he probably won't be as good as Anslem there, because the only first strike unit in vanilla troups is Cavalry, which deals... 10. Yes. 10. And covering crossbowmen won't help either in most of the cases.

What they all share, however, is that whenever the amount of enemy troups in a camp gets significantly higher, they gets significantly less useful.

I run mostly the first few Ali Baba adventures, but I'm still liking Nusala for the power as a sac general.

Nualsa seems to be the weakest link since they got nerfed/changed. If MMA suicides is your bread and butter strat though due to time/losses/whatever/reasons, best pick due to being equal to 3 MMAs with 1R (though numbers may change if you'd do a 220R MMA sac and get 2 rounds out of it where her 165R wouldn't cut it...but since she already is as strong as 3, that's 219R saved and then some for the final wave)

Personally I'm deciding between Vargus and Anslem, can't really put my finger on it just yet. While I like the overall troop reduction on Anslem (at least going by thus far posted numbers on many camps across just about all adventures) I like the specialty camp razer that Vargus presents where I'd usually go on a 1R MMA spree.

The credit goes entirely to people like Bri0sheje, EvilJ, Ceruhe, Corona88 Sweaterpuppies, Dandy (for the sim) Perwyn, Rabhautz and many many others who test the hell out of those generals.

I think Bri0sheje summarized it pretty good on the note of how useful they are depending on your level.Everybody will chose toward their play style of course, but knowing also what's is the best for your buck at your specific level is pretty handy.

Basically Nusala can be used everywhere (great for saccing), while Vargus and Anslem are quite optional. You can't use them always, but when you do use them they both shine at how effective their are doing their specific jobs. I think the choice of each general will largely depend on your level and that's why I very much like Bri0sheje summary.

Thanks Alice007 for such great contribution on test server, setting up the sim and spending so many hours testing the new stuff. BB should seriously consider getting you on the payroll in some ways, simply for the sheer amount of work and time you invested in the game and for your skills :)

Yes, they will be, but that is the extent of what is known.

I am confused about the description of Anslem, it said it reduced the accuracy of enemy units to 0%, does that mean the enemy units can't hit the general or his troops?

If you look at your troops, or enemy troops, you'll see their attack strength listed as 2 numbers, like 35-70. You'll also see an accuracy number, like 80%. This means that 80% of the time, the troop will hit with a strength of 70, and 20% of the time, for 35. With Anslem, the accuracy number is always 0% so that enemy troop will always hit with the lower number, or 35, in this example.

For some enemy troops, this range is extreme, like red foxes in the Fairytale adventures, which have an attack range of 10-40, but a very high accuracy of 95%. Against these types of enemy Anslem is extremely effective.

Yes agreed but it seems in many camps there are other enemy types or too many and anslem in theory is effective but not really usable. I would be happy to see a CLT "guide" that shows the camps and his savings on them and the adventure as whole.
