Ever going to fix the bug where specialists do not immediately update {grey or ungrey} in the star menu after you have visited an adventure?
wow
when it says increasing the limits of specialists according to the ones already owned, does that mean the maximum you can have if you played since day 1?
Hello Artemis,
The limits will be equally increased for all players. This means that if you had previously reached the limit, you will notice that the specialist is available for purchase once again. If you hadn't reached the old limit, you will still be able to purchase the remaining specialists, but you'll also notice an increase in the merchant limit for that particular general.
I hope this clears out any misunderstandings regarding this aspect of the change log.

What about the guaranteed loot? Soon I hope.
It sounds like everybody gets more of all specialists noted. The shop on test has some very nice numbers if it's any indication. I'm capped there at 8 MMAs and 7 luckies.
Decreased garrison building is a welcome complement to the time saving benefits of general skills.
I welcome anything that will prevent me from accidentally deleting coins again. I don't know why I would want to.
A lot of nice improvements coming in especially to speed up the adv, very very welcome!
I really hope BB lets us all get to the Max cap on MMA, Lucky etc, that includes what was available from past events now available for gem purchase like they did with the COA gens.. could be a nice cash earner for BB (is hinted towards by "according to the number of these specialists already owned.")

With the current update, players can purchase up to 8 (eight) MMAs, 10 (ten) Veterans, 4 (four) MODs, 13 (thirteen) Savage Scouts, and 7 (seven) Lucky Explorers. If would like to check additional limits, the upcoming version is currently available on the French server. Kindly note that the limits for our server will be available after the update on May 16th.

We have been waiting for this for so long. Although I already have most of them, it was unfair to the new players, it was impossible for them to play at the same pace. Now the question is when will they increase the limit for the gem pits and demolition crews. Because I still have money to spend.

Rather than raising the amount of gem pits, how about having gem pit depo's on some of the high end adv or the ones no one likes to play (not that i like the 2nd option)?
This might encourage players to play more (BB earning more and game success) as they are able to invest more into the game. As gem pits are not buffable you will still get a lot of players (lazy ones) buying gems, so again is a win win.
Where the Dev Diary states, "...The UI for deleting items from the Star Menu has been adjusted in order to avoid confusion...." is not wholly true. There is little confusion with the existing setup, it's not very player friendly to default to MAXIMUM items when one does click the delete button, a simple mistake that could have been remedied or mitigated to minimal number of resource(s) is turned into a catastrophe. I look forward to see what this adjustment was. ty
How about this?
Make it like the Evil Queen chain. You get the 1st adventure from Excelsior. All followups are a guaranteed drop. At the end of the chain you get a gem building (that doesn't destruct, just goes empty like any other production bldg) and your 1st deposit. Every run of the chain after that guarantees the drop of another deposit at the end. Doesn't need to be a huge amount of gems to make it worth doing. I'd be happy with somewhere around 500. Waddayathinkhuh?

I do appreciate that you can move generals to star in adventures now... but I hate the confirmation pop up more than anything. Maybe disable it on the home island?

The also said there would NEVER be a free book week, maybe just a discounted one.
Is there any way to make the bookbinder have a queue, similar to the provision houses? It would really help us produce books more quickly, especially when using some of the buffs, if we don't have to monitor it non-stop.
Looking forward testing these out. Only if there was a way to efficiently use bookbinder QUEUE ANYONE?
If there's going to be a maintenance to install changes, why don't they give the hours 24 hr in advance? Why wait til a couple hrs before to announce the hours?
Interesting.. and +1 for a bookbinder queue why a building with no queue when all other prod building have one just weird.
The MOD and Savage, if the new limit is 4 and 13 this mean that there is actually no increase since you can already have 4 MOD and 13 Savage in game now.
But there is a increase of 2 Vet and 2 MMA why no change for the Savage & MOD?
Is this new limit is only merchant and does not count General/Scout obtain during event?

Currently we were only able to buy 1 MMA or something in the merchant, while others, through events, had many more. Now new players have the change to get to that limit too, albeit with gems. Now upscale that to worldwide with german servers been far ahead with other limits, this evens newer servers as well.

However there is something that keeps me worrying: The increasing lack of clearness in the descriptions.
Why is there a need for replacing a perfectly self-explaining description by introducing another blurry term that needs addtional explainations?Quote:

We had a lot of questions on the new also blurry terms in the descriptions of the new general tree. Now we see this continue with regular unit descriptions?
At least it would be nice to put a section on their definitions in the ingame help to support all the new and currious players that missed it on the forums and change logs.
This game has a lot to explore in depth. Please dont make it to hard for new players to find the entrance to this maze of optimization. :)
i agree, and flanking doesn't even mean "attacking weakest target first" it means going around to the side and attacking.
For those who buy Gems or save them for Premium:
I buy gems for premium. I feel there should be a feature added that allows premium users an automatic 200-300% boost of
Elite Barracks speeds. The skunks and recruit guides help but I still feel there needs to be a way to speed things up.
Or a second option is allow one more upgrade or blueprint from the Excelsior. If the "elite barracks" upgrade would
be designed in this way, please consider it for levels 55 and up.
This is just a suggestion, not a complaint.
