Medieval Event with other players

Here's an idea for an event. How about a medieval even that would allow players to pit troops against troops in a set of medieval games.
There wouldn't be any troop loss. However, it would cost resources to participate. This would be good for putting certain gens against others with skill points and such. However, each combat can only be of 1 type of troop per general. Altho, there could be skirmishes. But that's not really part of the "games" :)

Recruits, Militia, Soldiers, Elite: Sparring
Cavalry: Jousting
Bows & Cannoneers: Distance and Targeting

And as generals win battles, they rack up points. You can win trophies for each type of combat skill. The person who has the most trophies gets super bonuses

There'd be level based tiers. So just like the guildquests are broken into tiers of levels, same here. The player with the most points/trophies in each tier gets a special token.
Also, perhaps the player with the most points overall gets something special as well.
