So many pumpkins. I'll grab all the specialists and most of the buildings.
In our guild we have a player lvl 29, a newbie, this event will be his first.
Seriously, Sleeping volcano? the rarest adv to drop on small search? :(
Disappearing Golem. It was rebuilding (saw it at 6%) and has suddenly disappeared. I was doing an adventure and buffing guildies around the same time.

I was online and waiting when the event kicked off at 4:00 a.m. est. I saw my golem populate. As I had a watering buddy I waited for her to get online and her golem to populate and I went off line for a while as I am at work. When I came back on line and logged in my golem had vanished. No, it was not watered and there is no "crack" showing that my golem time to repopulate either. The golem is just gone. I have sent a ticket to support but I am very concerned about the delay and the longer the delay the more time I lose. Please help. I did refresh and log out and back in and that did not fix this.
Hi, my golem has disappeared after I destroyed it once (with purified water). Please bring it back.
Um, not even sure how to put this.... If this is intentional, Halloween went from being a fav event to bogus, even threatening the title from the 'Black Knights' event:

Oil Lamp: 7 (+4 premium).
RB: 4 (+2 premium).
Seriously? That is not even in the ballpark. It looks like that not only did some adventures get the x3 bonus, but others got a x1/3 bonus.
i cracked my first golem and when i came back later a bnew one was 25% complete, then checked just now, several hours later, and there is nothing there
Outlaws seems like the best bet, up to 54 pumpkins. If you have vargus and he is trained its pretty easy
34 from Wisdom, but I stopped doing specific adventures for pumpkins and just keep doing what I normally do for the most part, with the exception of Tikki Island. The most I may do beyond that is give up Thiefs for Wood Cutter.
Will run Surprise Attack, MSE (yes, I still have a few stashed) and DB to offer LS in guild and a few Outlaws a day to build up my noble patches. Been having a blast running Outlaws since 3 AM, had forgotten how much I like that one. Time to switch. Just got my Platinum Horseshoe recipe!!
I guess every adventure got nerfed, except for the seasonal ones. Outlaws is the only one of them I'd even look at but still not interested in, though I used to love that back in the 40s.
Been doing that all along unless it falls into my area. Wouldn't mind running Outlaws this time around if I actually had any left, so I'm "stuck" with my normal stuff. Would love to have WotS be on the tripler next time heheQuote:

Some of the rebalance stuff are quite questionable, some others fit in quite good, the "nerf" to BK is one such thing.

Golem is not decreasing when friends drop water.... i have had no less than 7 friends drop water on my 2nd golem.. always it says "health decreased by zero" and the count doesnt go down. They're quests for dropping are counting - but not on the my golem.

And ... to further confuse the issue.... when i logged in .. his requirement was 400 water.. after people dropped water - it jumped to 450.. another dropped more - now it's at 475?? so i'm being punished for friends dropping water???

At the time of this posting, my Golem has five hours yet until it supposedly appears. It was supposed to appear last night, as I took it down approximately this same time yesterday.
I certainly hope there will be enough time left for players to complete quest lines and accomplish Achievements by the time these things get fixed.
My isle's golem has almost 5h left before it's next regeneration; that is about 9h more than it should have been, assuming the cool-down cycle is/was 24h. Not sure that we should be punished for the gaff that generated this 'feature'.
So is see the horseshoe buff ends with the adventure and does not carry on to the next one.
That sucks.
I did not see that as much of a biggie... imho, many adventures I run now are 1h or less (actual combat time), and Bronze are cheap enough that.... np. Only a few adventures are worthy, (again, imho) of utilizing the Platinum Horseshoes, and then not much would be left anyhow by the time one gets back home and loads the racks, collects all the generals to prepare for next one. Bronze are cheap enough anyhow...
so if they extended the event 2 days as they say, why is the counter still say the same amount of days left?
Same time before the shop closes, but 2 more days you can earn pumpkins. Nice. I don't know why they don't normally do this when something goes wrong.
the golem idiosyncrasies continue.. this mornings golem wanted an extraordinary 1025 water !!!..(for the 2nd one). i dropped half ... and then reopened it -- hit the x (which had been grayed).. .and it died... with the bar still saying i needed more..
this golem thing isn't new.. why isnt it working??

I'm not very pleased with the level 56 requirement to get all of the achievements unlocked for the event.
Ancient golems are still too expensive to kill. That's my only complaint. Good event otherwise.
I love the event, I hate the crashes of the game when I try to go to someone else's island.
Thank you for letting friends place water on our golem without bringing the golem down. I fear I upset friends last year when their application of water could preclude other friends from applying theirs.
I've only got two complaints. One, during my first Halloween event, adventures dropped pumpkins, not refills. I know some players like the refills because they can at least double the amount with buffs, but I'd rather be given the choice between pumpkins or refills or have a 50/50 chance of adventures dropping either a refill or pumpkins. Second, there's going to be one achievement left that I can't finish because it's level based. That is seriously annoying the perfectionist in me. Other than those two things, it's been a nice event.
I think that memory of yours is 2 years old already, last year we already got the fix to not accidentally kill someones Gollum and also be able to overkill as much as we want until the owner X'd it away.Quote:

Unfortunately that will remain as is, purely intended by BB, Pandur or Alex confirmed that it will stay that way. Prolly to make the patches more valuable overall. At least their production time got reduced, but on the other hand that also encourages trade, this time I'm rather active and have more refills than I could possible cycle myself and thus HAVE to sell/give them away, not that my guild is much bothered by that lol, then again they carried my lazy bum last year in return.Quote:

Totally with you there, but don't worry, BB is doing the "everyones a winner approach", meaning that whichever achievement you couldn't complete will be hidden and still show you 100% completion rate. The only way to notice is comparing with other players, who will also have 100%, but a different task number such as 16/16 vs 25/25 to rub it in. On the probably irrelevant note, event achievement do not increase your overall achievement score for that matter.Quote:

Yep. It was the year before (2015) that was the last to have Halloween Event adventures drop Pumpkins... too many people whining that the 1-2 adventures they actually ran got '0' pumpkins. If you ran 3-4/day and/or swapped for the additional loots, it always worked out... This depost thing really stinks, limits what you can get from it as time limits the number of deposits you can use.
NO! Their times are EXACTLY the same as last year. I still had my spreadsheets calculating usage based upon travel time. The base cycle time for the three Cemeteries are the same as prior years. On a side note, I detest trade, so that is not a plus for me...
Yes, this is the most pathetic thing about that achievement thing. Put some challenging if not impossible goals in there... give us things to strive for. In this event, as an example, peeps that log on only once a day for no more than an hour have the same event cheesements as very active players. BB should give those with the extra time and effort the possibility to get something extra for their effort.
My complaints, too many buildings (7 types not enough pumpkins), can't tell any difference with the horseshoe buffs (Platinum is too expensive anyway) and the last golem is too expensive. Christmas has three buildings (not counting arctic mine). Can't remember how many Easter has. I love the triple loot on outlaws.
My memory, from 2015 and before, when pumps were dropping instead of refills, is Nobles 1h, Common 4h and Small 8h cycles... but yea I agree, I don't like trading in TSO all that much either.Quote:

Pretty much agree on the horseshoe, the Gollum is pretty much free though? Plat ore drops are insane whichever adventure you do, you pretty much have waaaaaaay too much after your 10th Ali to "ever" use. I'm running 8 L6 smelters and cant reduce the stock for the life of mine. Gollum just needs ore, not bars, so that's a bonus...and it's much cheaper than the Ancient which uses titanium ore, while not massively needed either, a lot more valuable than plat ore by a long shot.Quote:
