[Feedback] Halloween Event 2017

Hello--overall, really great event! I have enjoyed it a lot and run far more adventures than usual (have Outlaws quite memorized ;-)...). Two suggestions:

1. Not letting level 55's proceed with the last achievement, to destroy five supreme golems, is very harsh. I had not read it carefully and had all my buffs ready. So I am stuck with 22/23 achievements, even though I am quite capable and was ready to defeat the five supreme ones. My recommendation is to do away with the arbitrary cutoffs and let each player proceed as far as they can. That could mean very few do all achievements, if you offer even more, such as another kind of golem after supreme. At any rate, I appreciate I can keep leftover buffs in my inventory for next year.
2. The price of grout in the Halloween store is quite high. This event was dedicated to getting as much grout as I could, as my personal goal, and I found players more than willing to under price the store. I have noticed the price is too high in the store for grout with gems, as well...just want to recommend that it be reduced.

Mine is not a complaint, but a question. It is not clear to me if Pumpkin Patches continue producing Pumpkins after the initial removal of the event, for the week (or so) before the final removal. I apologize if this appears written clearly in some location, but I have not seen a place where this is written clearly. In the Dev Diary, it seems as though it doesn't mention that they stop producing, but I don't know if that is intended to mean that they will continue producing. If this could be clarified, I would appreciate it.

I have destroyed the greater golem at least 9 times already and he just keeps coming back. Why isn't the Ancient golem showing up so I can get my achievement points? The event is almost over so I won't have time now to get as many points as possible!

Agreed, that it is not clearly spelled out, but based on last year (they ran until the Deactivation Phase) and deduction of the Dev Diary where it says in the description of the Removal Phase:

I calculated my deposits for each field based upon running until the 14th, and they are already full so, if I am wrong.... :/

Fun event. But for me all the events are fun. It changes the grind of the game. I would like to see a population building available for this event. Maybe Bone Church or so new eerie/creepy building.

Regarding the Pumpkin Patches -

The patches will be active and produce during the removal phase. Also, "You can use the Banshee's Scream buff in order to get more Pumpkins before the Removal phase finishes. The buff effect will end and you won't be able to use such buffs any more after the event deactivation.", but The creation of "Banshee's Scream", "Werewolf's Howl" and anti-Golem buffs are related to the Halloween event. Therefore this option will be turned off."

After the final deactivation, "Pumpkins remaining on each field, no matter if the fields have been built or if they are still in your Star Menu, will be converted to coins, along with all remaining refillers."

It was a pretty good event, but the last 2 years of having refills drop from advs instead of pumpkins really took the wind out of doing advs. And now that it's in the last week, many players have their fields topped up so fewer do advs for refills. Having the actual items drop sparks not only individual interest but also guild participation. I do like the change both last year and this year of letting friends hit golems without destroying them.

Christmas is the dedicated grout holiday. It has so few things in the store that most high level players will be out of other things to buy in like 3 days.

Thank you, Koshko, that is great to know! I need so much grout that even though I have accumulated a nice amount, the Christmas event will be very helpful.

so far its been a great event - now if i can lvl to 56 and get those 5 supremes done on time

From what i understand, you can only add depos up to the first removal and they can run til the end of the second removal.
But you're right, it is not stated clearly anywhere.

I love the event. however I think it is way to long. And not being able to get the last golem made me said :( LVL50

to me this reads as if the cemetaries will work during the removal phase, up to the Deactivation phase.

That is correct

And the reason I'm binge running Outlaws today. Might as well keep my nobles going next week and get as many Igor buffs as possible.

I managed to grab enough pumpkins to buy everything just in time. The number required to do that was rather large, but there were plenty of opportunities to earn them. I had my nobles running for about 80-90% of the event just from doing my usual adventures. Only thing I changed was I didn't run any ventures because of the loot or lack thereof.

Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but still some good stuff. I already have a few buildings and new generals in play, and the geologist will be nice when I finally have enough books to upgrade them again.

There were some issues with the event, which there usually are, but I felt the compensation and especially the extra two days was more than adequate.

Pro tip...dont reduce their time to find granite deposits hehe
