That location is one I always check. It has been used for several years to place collectibles.
It's been a problem for a while. I planted some flowers there to prevent this spawn.
I always run my cursor over that spot cause yes, they do hide there on occasion.
Good idea on the flowers.
Did not know about that. Probably not the only one like this. Planted flowers.
ah the notorious marble mine collectible, yes, you can't see it at all, very bad spot, you
can only see the word by mousing carefully the entire screen, or the usual blind spots ;)
I will be sure to let the Devs know about it. In the mean time I would take the planting flowers in the spot for now. Also thanks for the feedback about this!

After seeing this thread/problem, I have noticed I get a lot of collies in this spot. I hadn't thought of it before as being a problem, but since the soccer event, I've been get a lot in that spot. And it's usually the darker items that find their way there, too.
Don't worry, has only been pointed out the very week after inception of collectibles, I'd keep that spot open and just start registering as one of your default spawn locations....less searching that way. If you plant something there, you will simply move it's set spawn location to somewhere else....which one you memorize is kinda moot tbh. I very much enjoy that 1 collectible for it's reliability.
that's in s8 right? infamous spot... than and UNDER dark castles, on the mayors doorstep. I've found scarecrows IN the wheat fields.
