Hansel and Gretel stolen pebble buffs

I made 7 pebble buffs to take those wooden branches away. I started with 7 in star when i went back to adv. I dropped 6.
then the buff deactivated .. so i went to star to grab it again... Empty... what??

went to home isle - nope i cant make more cause i used the full collectibles to make the 7.

so back to adv - thinking maybe refresh or lag... shows still missing one.

then closely examined all the 'bridges' . one left - so 6 dropped is right.. clicked it -- it dropped.. BUT there was none showing in star so from where???

So while i'm thankful it finally worked - there's clearly a bug as i had the buff and its not showing in my inventory.
