I've had pretty good luck for the most part. There's definitely a pause by the rabbit's foot, but it has been mostly less than a minute.
We are sorry for this issue and we hope to have a fix for it soon. Please keep an eye out on the home page for any official word on it.

I found that is worse on the Mac than it is on PC. I have to hit the refresh button at least 1x when it starts to load and freezes just after the rabbit's foot (seems that everyone gets stuck pretty much at the same spot). Overall it still takes too long to start the game after logging in, but at least I can log in now since I downgraded flash player. Before I had 0 luck on Mac 10.14. PC is same for me anything between 10 mins - 1 hour. After that I stop trying.
On Chrome I have found that if stuck simply refreshing doesnt work. I have to right click on top of browser click task manager and end process on the flash. Usually get in on the next try.
i see the hotfix did nothing for this. last night i accidentally backed out of the game - 7;11 pm.. took till 8;45 to get back in... i was hopeful the maint would address it.. log in today 5;22 am -- check box screen - 5;30. still way too long. things were much more stable back when you did weekly database maint overnight.
I, too, was hopeful that the Easter Quest fix would have helped (grabbing at straws?) Still stalling just past the bunny's left foot, refresh after 5-6 mins, finally into the game 4-5 mins after that. Also plagued with the ongoing lag/freeze-ups that are becoming increasingly worse. Very disappointed that this hasn't been resolved by now.

I too am seeing the problem again today. 3 Computers, 8 browsers and 3 versions of flash and it always sticks at the left foot of the bunny suited figure.
Hotfix seem to have made things worse for me. Instead of being a good easter event, turned out to be the worst with this problem.
Agreed. I log in fine using Chrome on my Windows 10 laptop. But using Chrome on Macbook Pro won't load no matter how long I wait, and it used to load right up. It has been like this for about a week. I have to use Safari on Mac but that comes with intermittent lag and screen freezes.
Well the hotfix worked in fixing what it was meant to fix, I actually got the next set of Easter quests. But also having problems logging in still. Not sure if it's worth the bother getting in, as I guess we lost a whole bunch of days to do the quests so going to be short on time anyway.
Since it is Saturday, I tried to load game and left it up for one hour. Again I am Windows 10 and Firefox. It did not budge past the three small stones on the left as it tried to load the normal page. After one hour and one minute I reloaded. Now it showed rabbit girl. It locked at the same spot, which is slightly past her left foot. I am reloading and seeing her but it still will not go past that foot.
My alternative remains to buy a new computer which is advanced enough to load this Game. I will not do that. I have two other worldwide games which load basically immediately. One has massive graphics. Quite beautiful. Their programmers took into account that game upgrades might inhibit player accessibility. Sadly this Game's programmers ignore the effect of their game upgrades. It is beyond my computer's capabilities now.
I have been trying since 6;30am - 3 hours plus - no loading. just stuck at her bunny feet.. What on earth is the point of extending the event if NO ONE can get in???
Still having issues, too. Seems like our frustrations are falling on deaf ears.
been trying since 6;30am... its now 6pm.. still cant get past the bunny feet..
Have you tried Safari? It is the only browser I can get to load the game on my Macbook Pro. Chrome or Firefox don't work.
we the game is now mocking me - i managed to get in crippled on safari -- beach ball for every click, chat broken, email broken.. i was slowly sending explorers... and poof it kicked me out and i'm stuck out again.. i got 15 min... sigh
(firefox, chrome and opera all fail too)
I identify with all of you. Puffin browser on mini ipad gets me right in no problem - but mini screen, no track pad. Piffle. Is the game worth it??
Since the hotfix my guild quest window is messed up. It is all squished together and I see barely a sliver. Sometimes going to adv map fixes it for a short time, but then it reverts back. Anyone else having that issue?
I've been experiencing something like 15 minutes to 60 minutes to giving up. Now when I log in I just go do something else for a while then come back to check on it. Initially it was go grab a snack and drink, now it's go watch TV for 30 minutes or run errands.
Tried three separate times today for over a half hour each time, Windows 10 PC using current version of Chrome, have not gotten in a single time. The beauty of this is it's "finish the pathfinder tasks" day, I think I have to complete a Nords and maybe buff someone a couple more irma's... two things that total less than 30 minutes to complete. And pretty sure all my explorers are sitting in star not finding eggs and my crashers is up lol.

BB has seemingly been "looking" at this issue since mid March. It is clear that you guys either are not committed to finding the problem or that you have your head stuck so deep in the sand that you don't actually think there is one.
Either way, having a game that takes an hour to load is crazy. How do you think you're going to survive in an environment where this sort of this simply does not occur in any other games?
The response from BB is unacceptable. It is as simple as that.
Just had a look at TSO's ratings, especially on Steam. Mostly negative and Very Negative in recent times. All of the negative comments revolve around the time the game takes to load. Yet BB's response is : "Try another browser". How absolutely arrogant. You guys at BB had better realize that you are going to be without jobs soon, because the very players that have supported your salaries for years are now getting fed up with your "couldn't care less" attitude.

why wont the picture ever change?
Well, the problem seems to be getting worse. It happened this morning and my usual fix of opening Chrome's Task Manager to end the Shockwave process, then clearing cached, hosted app and media data before reloading the game didn't work after 4 attempts when it use to work on the first. On the 5th attempt, I added cookies to the browser clearing and if finally worked. I don't know if adding cookies made a difference or I just got lucky on the 5th try, but I really shouldn't have to go through such a song and dance so many times to log into a browser game.
Okay, my brain screams that this is just weird coincidence, but ... for the last three days, and multiple times per day, I have gotten to the bunny screen (same spot, just past her left foot) ... waited 4 minutes, did a refresh, and got into the home island screen 4 minutes after that. My husband tried it and it worked for him, as well. While 8 minutes isn't anything to write home about, it's a heck of a lot better than the 40 - or more - minutes I've been waiting before this. Probably coincidence in the long run, but I'll take it as long as it keeps working for me

it was doing "ok" for monday and sunday - about 5-6 min to load. today 6am .. poof stuck at the bunny foot again..
well once again got server hammer timed out.... trying to get back in to turn off my market stuff... trying trying trying... so friggin sick of this...
One thing you could try is watch the browser EXE with Windows Task Manager. I've noticed on the slooow load, the iexplore.exe (as I have the least trouble with explorer) memory usage increases about 1.5MB per second, with bigger chunks every now and then. As the memory usage at the end is around 1,000MB... yeah it takes a long time.
But so long as there's some CPU and changes in memory usage, I know it's still loading. If it ever sticks at a number, I hit refresh.
Since the start of this event BB has done something horrific with this game! Loading page, no matter what stupid browser I use, I do all the crud to clear cookies and cash, and it takes hours some days to get past the loading page! WTH! Not going to get too much on this event since I can't log in for hours on end, get booted when I do get in and it takes almost as long to get back in again, and today I probable will not get in as I'm still waiting hours for the loading bar to get past the yellow part to load. So I'm going to miss the gem daily, my guild quest, sending out all my scouts, and running a few adventures. Thank BB, your making my decision to go spend my money elsewhere easier.
I saw the update about the loading problem. I'm glad to hear they're still working on it. What's weird about it on my end is that the game loads fine for me when I'm using my laptop on one network, but not on another. So it's the same computer, same browser, but different networks/ISPs...and that's when the problem sets in.
I've had the game stuck on the loading screen for months now. Usually I wait a couple of minutes and refresh and then it loads just fine. However, lately that trick doesn't do it anymore. I haven't been able to play in a while. After almost 5 years of playing this may be the tipping point to make me leave the game. Any suggestions on a game I should try in the meantime?
I don't think its ever going to load today. Its been pretty good for the last week or so, but slow the last couple of days.
Didn't start keeping track until an hour ago, but probably first started 2 hours ago. I've refreshed every 4 minutes for a while, although I think there is something to that, seems to start after 4 minutes or need another refresh if it hasn't. I've watched the memory usage in task manager but I don't really know what I'm looking at - seems to start around 450 and climbs to 515 then back to 470. Is it instantaneous use? Or is it stuck when it jumps back to a lower number?
OMG it finally started.
I have always wondered why this game has 4 different loading sequences?
you have the first one that goes very quickly when you first go to get into the game, then another loading page comes up which takes forever, then goes into another one showing the event or info screen with the check box, then the actual loading of the game details like the buildings and such.
Why doesn't this game have just 1 single load in screen like every other game? There should be the main loading screen then straight to your island loading the buildings and such, there shouldn't be the amount of screens there is.
From my experience its "stuck" if the memory usage is not changing at all or is moving very slowly. Like up by 10-30k/sec.
For me on chrome it almost always loads after first refresh so id wait longer than 4 minutes for it to load after a refresh. Like twice the time of your normal nonstuck load time.
Larger memory use fluctuations might indicate that the game is about to load. For me it gets past the loading part where it gets stuck between 500-600mb usage and once the island is fully loaded its 800 mb.
