This latest update has made it so the foreign ship quests for the weekly challenge has disappeared completely from my island. I hadn't finish making provisions and logged in this morning and it was gone.
Several other users have stated the same thing happened to them as well.

halloween date wasn't announced yet.. no dev diary yet either.. it was just announced it would be implemented in the back side of the game
but yes several guildies lost their weekly ships also.

Foreign Ship is gone too
Add another one to the list of those missing their ships (me).
mine was gone also - but i had already completed that portion. however Rest of weekly had gone too.. .. i figured i had failed it b4.. couldn't remember. then this aft i got the failure notice - the quest reappeared failed... and the whole shebang started again.
Had i been Trying to do the quest - i would have been pretty irritated that it was gone all day.
My ship is missing as well!

Same. after the update - checked my ship to do my 3rd quest of feeding the ship with resources but the ship was no where to be found on the map.
My ship is missing too.
The ship will show up on the next Weekly refresh.
Be aware that current weekly that you are missing the ship cannot be completed.
Apparently from what I'm reading, the ship should reappear once the new weekly challenge starts back up. Doesn't help anyone for this current though..
