That's correct, and remarkably valuable as a transport general or a sacrifice general for fairytale adventures. The game is about adventuring - the more specialists you have to do that, the better.

I was having the same problem, but my conscientious geologist seems to find them when no others do. Perhaps that will work for anyone else experiencing this bug.

It seems there has been a change to the intercepts on Treasure of Knowledge. I spoke to Evil_J about it and he's going to run one and check it out. In the meantime...
