How long is 'eventually' for you? Because I'm thinking that an hour is more than long enough before concluding that the game simply isn't working.

I get a partial load (30%-ish maybe) and it just stays there not moving. Latest Flash and have been trying all day: nada.
Looks like we have to restart the consecutive login -- bye-bye this week's gems -- even though the problem was on their end. Insult to injury.
As I wrote above, I've checked all the numbers and the troops did evaporate. Also, all the generals have landing zones on the home island so no need to unload in transit.
During the Easter Event I've noticed a disturbing (and expensive) trend: troops evaporating off generals while in transit.
When an adventure is complete, generals have left-over troops on them but...

Oh, I did. It has no effect no the bar.
The "Slim Browser Version" (like the one they released for Anno Online) is a stand-alone, single-task browser. It works better if you have Chrome installed as it uses a different flash but you don't...
Hmm... go to someone else's island and come back... the christmas area of the chest is back, the calendar shows (inoperable) and no quests...
Reload the game and, you guessed it: christmas event...
Er, ok.... I got some christmas stuff but couldn't open the door, refreshed and no christmas event stuff at all, no christmas section of the chest; however, bunch of others happily doing christmas...
^^ this would be magnificent, especially with stable market items.
