I tried to startup a new adventure - to find out the system thinks I'm either in another adventure or just finished it. haven't done any in at least 48 hours. Any suggestions?

You can select the item - poison, shovel, etc. and it will highlight the buildings that need it instead. So you do not need to do left to right.
