Make 2 trades with a friend. Have your friend send you enough to fill your max plus 50K. The 50K will go into your star. You then send him back the same amount he sent you. That will all come out of you regular inventory leaving 50K in star.
If something can go wrong, it will.

You can also use your inbox .... if you send a trade for 50k water for something ridiculous (like 100,000 crossbows) to somebody -- they will decline or it will expire, and the 50k water will stay in the 'trade declined' message until you want to accept it back into inventory.
(If accepted back into inventory when inventory is full -- will go to star menu)
