That's because you were on Premium which gives you an extra 50% Extra EXP for each camp you kill and extra loot.
The 984 is random, correct.
Seems to me I've seen that slot with various amounts in BLT.

RGC, I've ran BLT at least 10 times and never received 984 beans for xp, I know about premium, been premium since it started. Read ZBests comment, the xp has been re-balanced. The answer I was looking for. It must have just happened this past update.
