Dissapearing materials

Quite often materials left in the mail for whatever reason dissapear.

I've experienced this, as well. I started to wonder and began to keep track. Things are definitely disappearing.

If you guys are referring to trade deals, they expire after 24 hours.

Well, they shouldn't. For one thing, I play every day, so I shouldn't have things magically vanishing because of some timer related to previous business. Also, what if I'm on vacation or have an emergency that keeps me from playing for a day or two? I shouldn't come back to a completely empty game and wonder where everything I should have has gone.
