its a sink for gems
recruitment speed is already too fast, we've 500% buffs, rgs and meadhalls
True +1
wouldnt by the reg barracks but would definitely by the ebarracks one. (note i'm no where near making 500% buffs etc)

Not every one has those options -- especially lower level players attempting to level up and having to wait to play and adventure because they do not have a huge population buffer, fast troop cooking capability (e.g. level six barracks), and/or 500% buffage...
8K gems seems a bit steep for me for just 50%. At that level, it would take buying 4 of them for over 30K gems just to speed it up to rate of a permanent skunk, and would I pay 30K for that? Definitely not since I can just use skunks. But if it were 8K for a 100% boost, I might be enticed to pick up a least one copy of the elite version. That's just me though.
I don't do adv fast enough to need the boost and there is no room for all these buff buildings. We need stacking.
I like it! I think the price is fair for the effect it has on the elite barracks. I could get 2 for less than the price of an endless copper mine for crying out loud.
