As a teaching guild, members of The Library [T-L] tend to catalog lots of useful information. A lot of the information gets sent out in the "Welcome" email that I send to new members, and some gets sent out as needed. In order to capture everything in one place I've decided to start this thread. I'll keep this post updated as I find new links or info to add. Hope it's helpful to everyone and contributions are always welcome!.
Regards,
Spike's Co-pilot

GUILD ETIQUETTE
- If you intend to give a gift to someone, send them a trade with a cost of 1 stone/pine log/fish, etc.
- If you intend to have the person send you "what they think is fair", then make sure they understand that before you send a trade; otherwise they may mistake it for a gift.
- Guild members typically sell items to other guildies at a lower cost than what they would make in TO, but it's not required.
- If you are on a LS on someone else's adventure, confirm what they want you to send and when they want you to make your hit. If you don't kill something then you will get no loot. And not all LS involve low troop usage. For example, a lot of people "sell" a DB LS for 2 200-cav hits in order to minimize their own losses in that particular adv. Always know what's expected of you before you accept the invite, and be prepared to make your hit quickly so that your host is not stranded waiting for you.
- If you offer up a LS in your own adventure, make sure the buyer knows what is expected of them in terms of troops, kills, and/or payment (1st slot, coins, whatever). Always confirm that they made their kill before you finish the adventure. Try to avoid inviting them until you get to the point that they are necessary so that they don't get stuck waiting for you.
- If you get "kicked" from the guild due to inactivity, you are always welcome to rejoin when you become inactive again. Inactive members affect our ability to get guild quests done, so we try to keep inactivity to a minimum.
- If you have a quest to do one or more adventures, an LS qualifies. Often members will run the same adventure and swap the LS so that they both get their quest done. If you need a specific adventure, like IOTP or DP, to complete an adventure, please ask. A lot of the higher level players stock up on them since they can be hard to come by for the lower level players
- The people of this guild tend to be very helpful and generous. If you need something (even if its granite or a LS for an adventure), please don't be afraid to ask. But also try to share what you have with others who need it as well.
- If you're going to be away for an extended period, please mail me or put a note in your guild notepad (click the shield icon in the bottom of the screen) so that we know you're inactive.
SUGGESTED "ON-HAND" TROOP COUNTS
Heavy Hitters:
Cannons 200 to 300
Elites 500 (Surprise Attack)
Xbows 200 to 300 (Nords)
Cavalry 1000 (Dark Brotherhood)
Standard Troops:
Recs 1000 to 2000 (Secluded Experiments or fairytale , many lv42 adv can take upto 1000 min.)
Bows 1000 to 2000 (secluded experiments or fairytale)
Militia 200 to 500 (rare ocassions need higher like 1600 for secluded experiments)
Longbows 0 to 2000 (can treat like a either or with bows to total together)
Soldiers 200 to 500
Only recommend militia and soldier counts for those that prefer upgrading from recruit use, although personal opinion; recruits should be the main battle fodder since cheapest to replace.
Always remember, adventures give you several days to do them, for the sole purpose of building army as you work it. You don't have to have the full load ready to go in just a few hours; that's more of a player's personal choice. Always work within your personal ability and enjoy the game.
