1.
As the polls suggest, adding more islands that are separate completely from the home island as another way to gain rare resources is considered a great idea and should be implanted into the game.
This topic will work within three keys: Guilds, PvP, and Trading.
Guilds: A island where the guild leader runs, and members can benefit by contributing resources.
PvP: Extra islands can be used as platforms for PvP, checkout my "Suggestions PvP!" post for more on that.
Trading: How the island benefits you.
2. Ships
A: In order to look and transfer resources you need a new building, the harbor! The harbor will be your storage building for ships which leads us to another building...
B: A shipwright! The shipwright will allow you to build three kinds of ships, Warships, Cargo, and Capital ships!
C: Warships are meant to only hold solders, up to 500 at a time.
D: Cargo can hold up to 10,000 resources.
E: Capital ships are a mix of the two, as suggested by Kageneko, say 250 troops and 8,000 resources.
F: Upgrading the harbor will allow you hold more ships, while upgrading the shipwright will allow you to build boats faster.
G: When attacking enemy islands, you could form a blockade. with the ships you own, you block a enemy harbor to stop the enemy from resupplying its own troops.
H: To make it more fair to the defenders, they may build more harbors on other parts of the island, allowing them to still transfer resources providing that the attackers don't send another blockade to that part of the island. (which means that the attackers may blockade multiple harbors)
3. Guild Islands.
A: With my other ideas like a guild bank and a PvP guild island, in the island, the guild leader can build mines to gain rare medals like titanium, saltpeter, and granite. However, these mines will cost more to build, and so guild members could be taxed/asked to create these mines.
B: If you give resources, then a percentage will be returned back to you in the form of whatever mine was built. This idea could be split off into special buffs, normal buildings on the guild island ect...
4. The Island.
A: Once you find a Island, via a explorer, you get the chance to own, or leave and look for a better island.
B: if you leave, then you can restart the search for another island.
C: If you decide to own, then you will have to send your armies and conquer the island! Depending on the size of the island so will be the difficulty of barbarian camps. (I.e. small islands mean small camps, few bosses, larger means more bosses and reinforced camps)
D: once you have a foot hold on the island, you can start building a storehouse, just like in your home island, after that, any buildings can be built.
E: you can find mines here as well, with an option on the geologists to hunt on a specific island.
F: you are limited to only 1 island per player.
G: You are also limited on building licences and mines.
H: Just a note, here is a good place to use Economy Adventures the devs have planed.
