When changing over from bronze to iron, be aware that it is a tough change, and do not eliminate or significantly reduce your bronze production. You will need the recruits and swords to keep fighting while you make the change.

Keep your resource buffs in "buff form" until you need them, it's free storage!

When posting trades don't trade for high values like 200 of an item for 100 of another item, instead do smaller values with the same ratio like 50:25 or 20:10 as more then one person can accept your trade you've posted and its more likely to get takers as fewer people will have an insane amount of resource laying around.

    YOUR FIRST FIGHT

Watch your first battle. Your general as he leads the troops to a spot you picked out may engage in a battle along the way. This could cause you to have fewer troops at your next battle resulting in a defeat. Wasting those recruits and the resources to produce them. Be ready to click the retreat button for your General.

I noticed this on my first battle. When the unexpected battle was complete I issue the retreat order before the next battle. This saved my resources errr I mean those last four brave Recruits to fight another day. Hurry!

Hoard your discovered treasures and convert stock piled materials into higher grade materials (i.e., stone to marble). Eventually you may get to the point where raw materials will "max out" when logged off. If you had used a found treasure and used it right away it may have been wasted. If you max out wood planks overnight, you could have converted them to hardwood and still had more than enough the next day. Your star menu does not seem to have a maximum limit.

So hoard your treasures until you need them and make sure you are optimizing your production through strategic use of the provisions house.

    Lightbulb Resource Watch Out

Watch out for the resources you have and which you need for building something. its very important to watch out for that because if you run out of them (for example stone) and then you need them you will need to wait alot of time.

    Fisher Buffing Caution:

If you buff your fishers, make sure they will produce more fish than the buff cost. If the buff cost ten fish but they only produce seven extra fish you just lost three fish.
