Biggest annoyance: The fact you have to type /help to get chat commands for reporting and ignoring. These commands should come up when you click on a player's name.
Best Features: guild community, partnering in adventures, trade
Feature to change: Amount of gems needed to buy anything

    Task Sixteen
    Level: 27
Biggest annoyance: the frequent timeouts reaching the server.
Like the most: the free trade system
What I would change: I'd add buffing status including who buffed and time remaining

Annoyance: Timeouts/just the same thing always...no novelty in game play as the game progresses
    Like: Co-op adventure system
Change: too simplistic when it comes to units and capabilities, introducing a battle xp gain system foe generals will add novelty!

Task Sixteen 9/15 - 9/19: What level are you? What is your biggest annoyance in the game? What do you like the most? What would you change?
Level 27 - I wish gems were less expensive! -- I love the buffing and adventures to interact with others online! -- Either gems are less expensive to buy, or items are cheaper so you get more for your real life money.

Task Sixteen 9/15 - 9/19: What level are you? What is your biggest annoyance in the game? What do you like the most? What would you change?

    Level:26
Biggest annoyance: Is having to get on everyday for mines. I wish I only had to get on CEO only every two days. I have a full time job, family and go to school on top of that. I fight to stay awake, but don't want my mines to run out, because that stops almost all of my production chains. Maybe add another 100 or so to copper and iron mines, maybe 50 to gold. I love this game, but wish I wasn't chained to it. The grind is starting to get to me. Alot of people have already quit because of this and I might be one soon as well. Don't get me wrong, its a great game but the grind after 26 is slow, especially for adventures and any ore.

What do I like the most: After 2 or 3 days, seeing my resources. They finally start getting to a level that I see the fruit of all my labor. Though the labor is getting harder and harder.

What would I change: Have copper mines at 850 to 875, iron at 650 to 700 and gold at 350 to 400. The resources for gold production are astronomical at lvl 24 to 28 and they don't look to be getting any better soon. I just plain can't afford to upgrade any of my buildings. It's too hard to get any coin to upgrade anything, my explorer might (.05% chance) of getting 25 coin and I have gotten 300 coin twice since the beginning for defeating a bandit camp, but other than that I haven't gotten any coin except one or two from trading water. It's kinda getting to me now.

    9/1 to 9/5 Level 21. I love the graphics!

9/6 to 9/9 I've participated in many close beta events. Interaction with the Devs is always a moral booster

    9/10 to 9/13 Level 24, Gold somewhere around 0 (Just bought a 2nd explorer and a 3rd general)

9/15 to 9/19 Level 24. Annoyance: Not having a resource summary / building summary / buff timer / reporting function. Love the graphics. I'd love it if the General could be named, and upgraded.

Task 16: I am level 22, close to level 23. I really like watching my busy city, the animations are interesting and the graphics quality is very good for a browser game. Watching what goes on in chat is often very entertaining. I also like building my city and watching my resources grow.

I have several annoyances: 1) When my geologist fails to find anything after a 4+ hour search; 2) When my explorer finds hardwood planks 8 searches in a row (a waste of 4 days); 3) The amount of resources needed to build higher level buildings (especially mines which I will be forced to tear down in a day or two unless I spend precious gems); 4) The level grind (build troops for over a week, send them to their deaths, repeat).

What I would change: 1) At higher levels adding different quests besides "kill bandits". Maybe "Level your Mayor's House to x" or "Accumulate x amount of y resource"; 2) Add a menu that shows your buildings with the ability to cycle through all the buildings of each production type and a building count so you can see what you have (total, working, shut down); 3) Have the geologist tell you at the beginning of a search that you already have too many resources of a particular type so he can be sent to look for something else instead of wasting half a day searching for something he won't find, or have him find the resource in the same spot as a mine that is about to deplete so it simply replenishes, either way the time spent searching isn't wasted; 4) Have mines only require fir planks and stones since they are not permanent buildings (they will be torn down and moved once they are depleted and who builds a mine with marble anyway?); 5) Adjust the gem/resource cost of upgrades/purchases so everyone can enjoy the game to its fullest, although I have the ability to purchase gems, I will not at this point as the cost of what I would want to buy with those gems is too high; 6) Allow 'purchase' of gems with in-game generated gold...gold is a precious resource in-game, gems are precious too and most people feel their time is precious, therefore an exchange of a person's time spent building enough gold for gems seems a fair trade - a lower exchange rate for gems purchased with in-game gold could be offered so those who buy gems with real world money are also exchanging their money for less time spent in-game, but those who don't have a lot of real-world money to spend can still enjoy the game and not be punished for their lack of real world resources.

Task Sixteen: I am at level 26.

The biggest annoyance is the amount of time you must wait for new settlers. Building armies, then rebuilding, then rebuilding, requiring days until you can attack with any degree of success is extremely frustrating and destroys your enthusiasm. At this point, I am barely doing it because I want to, not because I enjoy it. But that will not last if there isn't some form of moderation. The gem cost for settlers or the resource cost are prohibitive on a repetitive basis. It just won't fly. This is what I would change.

I do so much want to regain my early enthusiasm. Thanks.
