Closed Beta Key entry not working - solution

Manually enter the key, or paste it in and remove the dashes. Either method works.


I followed the instructions in the email for accessing the beta. I created my account and went to enter my beta key.

The instructions were something like:

1. Enter beta key
2. Click submit
3. Click Play now

This didn't work and I was left looking at a little miner icon working for a very long time.

The fix, I found, is to enter the beta key without the dashes. Then you can click submit and play now. See you in the game!

copy and pasting the key didn't work for me, had to manually enter it (dashes worked fine).

Didn't work when I didn't manually enter it.

Thanks for the solution....all i did was copy/paste the key in then took out the dashes...worked fine....now when i log in the game is ready to go...THNX

yes it has to be manually typed in.

Hey everyone. I was able to copy /paste my key. Is anyone still having problems?

I too was able to paste my key directly out of the email.

Copy and paste worked for me directly from the email but I suspect a blank space is the issue. Sometimes when you copy you will highlight a blank space and this will cause issues with passwords or keys.

I had to enter it manually

Copy and pasting worked for me as well but I had to refresh the webpage and try again a few times before it worked.
