    Building Upgrades

While I understand that I have the buffs that can be placed on buildings, I think that the leveling requirements for buildings are too high. By this I mean that is unrealistic to have to wait until at least level 17 before I can upgrade my first buildings. Leveling up in this game seems pretty easy and I know that most people seem to only take about 2-3 days to reach the required levels, but having to wait around for resources because I can't level my buildings is very inconvenient, and may put players off. This seems like a fun game, and I could spend hours playing it, but this is an issue that needs to be resolved. Basic buildings should take basic or intermediate supplies to upgrade. Intermediate buildings should take intermediate supplies or advanced, and so on and so forth.

you do know you can turn stone and fir planks into hardwood and marble via the provisioner.

under resources tab you can make hardwood doors for 250 fir planks and lonely stone for 250 stone. each of those becomes a buff item that you use on the mayors house to get 50 hardwood planks(the door) or 50 marble (lonely stone).

Hey guys. Thanks for these comments. You can actually buff mines so that resources will flow more quickly. Also, if your friend buffs your building it lasts longer. I hope that helps!

what does upgradeing a building even do? i have one upgraded toolmaker and one regular toolmaker, and the upgraded one takes longer to make tools! is it just the number of tools you get after or what?

Upgraded Toolmaker (level 2) makes twice as many tools in the same time period as Toolmaker (level 1), the time on the level 2 is slightly longer because of location.

It produces extra materials (at the expense of using extra base materials). A lvl 2 building is essentially two level one buildings using only one building permit (which is extremely important, you can never have enough of those).

As for your personal upgraded toolmakers, you probably have a longer travel time on your upgraded one which is why it's taking long to make tools. Upgrading a building doesn't muck with their base production time.

Extra storage, I believe it's like 1600 the first time?

hardwood door and lonely marble is 250 per 50 of each item. so 250 fir planks on hardwood door to make 50 hardwood planks and 250 stone makes 50 marble.
later on this becomes more used then actual buffing foods (im lv 20 and i hardly make fish plates anymore or any buffs cause i spend more time making extra supplies)

you should always upgrade buildings (but i wouldnt suggest upgrading logging until you upgrade foresters ... you will be glad to have lv 2-3 forester before you get a lv 2 logger...) not only can you delete any level 1s that become obsolite but upgraded buildings will produce more supplies then their level 1 counter parts .. as well as save you build limits by not requiring 2+ of that building type. (i deleted several fir sawmills when i made my 2 sawmills level 2.. 2x fir planks each instead of having 4 level 1 saw mills) as for production time.. just build closer to your storehouse/mayor house.. to speed that up
