    My Thoughts on The Game

My thoughts- if it has been mentioned I apologize, also if some of this is already available and I just dont know how to access/see/use it, I apologize and please let me know how.

    1. Clicking on mines does not give you any information - would be nice to know they are mines when you click them and also how much stone they have - rather than a surprise note that it is now dry.
    2. Would be nice to have a log of all messages that have come in - sometimes I miss the pop up and have no idea what it said.
    3. Experience bar just tells you how much XP you need to reach the next level, and then a color bar that fills with no indication of how many points you have already accumulated.
    4. Game is way way to slow - the first 5 levels are decent for beginners but thereafter its a toil - I am playing a different game while waiting for castle empires allows me to progress (due to no resources).
    5. This is more aesthetics - would be nice to see you explorer exploring the map and the geologist etc - rather than just messages that they have found something.
    6. What are the benefits of friends on my bottom bar
    7. Would be nice to have a button that shows you how many friends you have (a la farmville... yeah I played it)

I will add more as I keep playing

    Thank you

You have to click on (for example, a mason) to view how much is left in the mine. You also have to be zoomed in at least half way for the numbers to show up.

I agree, a log would be very useful. I too miss things people say. Like right now, the game is running. I am probably missing some important game-changing information!

As for the game being slow, I (among many others, i'm sure) enjoy it being so slow. You build a little, chack some stock, buff some buildings, and walk away. or keep browsing the internet. Later in the day, come back to the game to see not only have your buildings finished, you have a bunch of stone because you buffed all your masons! And you build more buildings and go to sleep, wake up and do it again! I love waking up in the morning to check how much inventore I have gained over night, it is like a surprise!

actually seeing the explorer would be a nice feature, not crucial but it would look good.

Your friends can visit your town, buff your buildings, you can trade with them once you hit a certain level, (That is all I know of so far)

Ah yes... farmville... I'm sure we are all familiar with that game.
we dont speak that name here...

I will keep responding to your questions as you keep playing

Thanks Sandman - that was very helpful. It would be nice to have other things to look at and/or do while waiting for resources to build up - Ladder challenges, visit 10 friends and get x bonus, buff 10 friends and get x bonus, enlist x number of friends for x bonus etc - basically something to do within the game while you are waiting for the main stuff.

Yeah, also it would be nice to know which friends came by and buffed your stuff(clean minds please) - so you could reward them -

I think it would have to be per friend not per buff. It would also make people have more friends (for whatever purpose that serves)

Per friend or X amount on one friend. So you actually have to help others, not just give one friend one buff.
    i.e. Buff Lobengula's mason x30 = 20 gems (or something)

I like that idea - it does encourage having many friends, and making you go visit them - thereby increasing the social aspect..mmmh.

I agree wit all items in this post. It would be cool as well to see little fishing boats out fishing.
