Couple Suggestions on enhancments towards buff system and friend information.

Not sure if either were mentioned my search didn't turn up any hits on it.

Friend buffing, with smaller settlements this isn't something amazing, but I can see with a larger settlement someone may prefer a specific section or resource chain to be a buff target. A couple potential solutions using a buff request system. Either a priority system or a preference system.

Priority system: You can specifically select a set number of buildings (ie rank 1-5, 1-10 etc) as priority targets. If a friend wishes to buff, it will default to one of these pre-ranked buildings. Once the ranked buildings are buffed, friends are free to distribute buffs to the other buildings as they feel fit.

Preference system: similar to above but instead of forcing the options, having a way of specifically marking up the buildings or section of land that people would like buffed over other areas, either by a special icon or even the buildings may be highlighted to a friends view.

Another thing would be a settlement profile in game. Someone who wants to approach it from an rp angle would be free to do so, but this could be a limited character field where you could also state say your focus for resources and preferred assistance with buffs, perhaps this also has valid uses in future trading or pvp.

It's also been mentioned a few times in game about something you can do well waiting for resources, or even during building times. Something like once you've established your tavern, you can also use some minor resources to play some mini games, possibly even being able to wager your coins in a bet scenario where you might win some resources in return.

The idea wouldn't be to take away from the gem micro-transactions as an option to increase direct play, but rather something to fill in or available so you know you could spend time doing it well waiting. Another option is a staged mini-game with levels limited to daily maximum plays with a random level appropriate gift when you complete a stage.

    Just some random thoughts.

Sorry didnt realize there was a thread already started on this - so just copied and pasted - pretty much agree with what you have

    Suggestion Buffs

So I was really liking the buff system until I encountered the second level of buffs.

    10 x fish = 30minutes double production
40x fish,20 bread = 2 hrs double production (suggestion would be to boost the duration of this one)
120 fish, 60 bread, 20 sausage = 6 hrs double production (suggestion would be to boost the duration of this one or lower the requirements)

Unless I am mistaken you are been penalized for continuous time, because 40 fish x 30 min = 2 hrs of double production - what is the incentive to use the 2 hr boost?

    Now my requests on buffs

    1. If I buff a building or a friend buffs a building, it would be nice to see a buff timer on the building
    2. Ability to have a log of friends that came by and buffed (so you can repay them)
    3. Be able to provide a list of what you would like buffed when friends visit

    Thanks

I agree with the incentive changes in buff. I would like to see them stackable as well which would then defeat the purpose of using the longer buffs. Server usage wise, it would actually be a good idea to make them stackable and make the better ones longer or cost less and the argument is, otherwise it will be about building fish buffs nonstop and logging in every 30 mins just to buff your production buildings to stay ahead of the game. That's a lot of extra traffic and worry, if you were to change it just a little you could queue up buffs, and see how long they have left, and then log out for a day or 12 hours or whatever, which would be a lot longer than trying to manually buff as they end. But, just a suggestion.

You only get a piece of mail if you are logged out at the time of the buffing. When you are logged in, there is no notice of who was kind enough to buff you.

    A few suggestions:
    - As the game progresses and farms get upgraded they will use up the fields much faster, so people will either have to keep logging on every few minutes to replace their wells and fields or they will have to build a lot more in an already tight space. The wheat fields and wells can also be upgraded for a small resource cost, or add higher tiers of these structures, or the structures will automatically improve with the farm upgrades or as the player increases in lvl.

    - Is there anyway we can get the roads to have some useful function other then making the kingdom look nice? Like helping my workers move faster thereby improving production time.

    - The general moves very slow. I understand some people want to role play and have a felling of a massive armie moving, but is there any way he can have a set time. Like he will ways take 1 min or so to move no matter the distance? or have a buff we can put on him to speed him up? Or even have a higher cost fast general we can buy with gold or gems?

Just a few ideas thanks for reading =)
