Deleted mines use up my licenses?

Two of my copper mines became depleted, so I sent my geologist out to find more, and one of the mines disappeared and became a copper deposit. So I deleted my other exhausted mine so I could rebuild it somewhere else, but the building licenses from both mines (that no longer exist) are still being used up. Now I'm going to run out of copper. =(

This has happened to me as well. Presently I have 0 licenses and 0 copper mines because of this. I cannot rebuild the mine because it did not return the license when torn down.

Is there any way to fix this or drop us a license?

Have you guys logged out and back in?

I noticed my copper mine kept my license for a while, but then the server timed out and I logged back in and it was back.

I had 4 licenses, placed a copper mine to build.. The licenses went to 3... Before the build was done, it dropped to 2.. Took a screen to report it, but then decided to relog... Upon return, it had set back to 3.. So the relog is a good suggestion... be nice if this were fixed tho before the game is live...

Happened to me this morning with copper and stone --- dropped my licenses without return. I tried re-logging, nada. Also not getting back resources stated when demolishing wheat fields. Did get the fun bug where it looked like I had 72 licenses for awhile!

Stone mines don't use licenses, only the masons do.
And I had tried relogging, didn't fix it.
I THINK I recounted all my buildings and it still falls short of the 95 building licenses I have.

Would be a nice addition if there were a screen in the Mayor's House somewhere that showed where your licenses were allocated.

I have gotten this same bug a few times now. Halfway through level 18 and I think I am down 4-5 licenses total at this point. Yes, I tried relogging! (in fact, I often need to relog while playing because of tardy licences).

Other people have said you need to wait 15-20 minutes. None of these things seem to return my licenses to me. I usually have under 5 available (sometimes only 1), so its easy to keep track! That said, this bug may make the game unplayable in the long term.

If any of them show up, I will report it here.

    edit a few hours later:

actually, if I am counting properly, I think I may not be missing any licenses. BUT, I have still not seen one come back after deleting a mine. Is it possible that they return the license to us overnight when the mine goes defunct, instead of at the time you demolish it? While waiting for one to come back AFTER demo-ing a mine, I have yet to see one. <ponder>

I also have lost several licenses from this bug. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until level 18, and with about 6 licenses left...
