Retired Bandits

Does anyone know what the retired bandits in the provision house do? They say they give you 5 settlers and cost like 625 bread. The problem is that the traveling settler family costs 125 and give five settlers. So what is the benefit to the bandits for the extra 500 bread???

I believe it takes away 5 bandits from the surrounding camps to put in your population cap. It helps you on both ends, so it's more expensive.

i heard it's a bug - it should be 25 settlers - never try it myself but see some people mentioned it in the chat -

Well you see, it originally costs the same but they go ahead and figure in all the bread the bandits are going to steal, too! lol :P

We put it in our bug report, so hopefully we will get an answer soon!

Ya, I was the one that tested it out yesterday, its 25 not 5. Filled out a bug report about the typo. I think its also the same for Scaffold Rods but I'll never have 500 bronze swords laying around at once to test it.
