That's not how accuracy works in-game. Accuracy is the chance of doing max damage, if they fail the accuracy roll then they do min damage.
Dogs do 5-10 with 60% accuracy. Since cavalry only has 5 hit points, even a "miss" from a dog will do 5 damage and will thus kill a cavalry. Dogs + Cavalry will always kill each other 1:1 until one side runs out.

    First Post updated.

Sorting units by hitpoints should now properly sort all units including general. Discovered that the sort routine (which is only used for Guard Dog and Cavalry attacks) caused the General to randomly migrate through the unit list in certain cases. After changing how i check for the general he is now always sorted to the end of the list of units in the player army. Attacking bandit camps with guard dogs should now be much closer in results to the that of the game.

Again please note that your results with this simulator will most likely be different from the results of the game because of the fact that both the game and the simulator make use of a random number generator and mostly likely not the same one.

Battle simulator predicted 109 recruits lost and nothing else.
    Actual
    109 recruits, 10 bows, 18 militia, 12 cavalry. - only 8 cavalry left.
Battle simulator in this case now says:

109 recruits, 10 bowman, 14 militia, and 12 Cavalry lost and win the battle which is very close to actual listed loses :P

Updated again to version 0.0.5.4 in order to fix a bug discovered by Aurorah dealing with the multiple battle simulation.

Still seems to be working well. Extremely useful in calculating and understanding the attacks.

Also helps in understanding that the battles in this game are pretty unsatisfying. I am at level 22 and you just have to accept that you will lose a lot of attackers and it will take a long time to rebuild the population. Not a lot of fun and I have almost given up on the game many times. The idea that you only get 1 population every 15 minutes whether you have 50 people or 1000 is ridiculous.

You combat that with bread -- every 25 bread is another settler, basically.

Selak, thank you for all the work you have put in on this. It has worked great for me as I've gone along. I'm especially appreciative of the multiple waves feature in this version.

If there is anyone interested in trying to port the program over to be able to run on a Mac, please mail me in-game or send me a PM. I wish I knew what I had to do to make it Mac compatible but since I do not own a Mac and have no way of testing it, I can not work on porting.
