In a beta it is easy to see where making updates could cause a delay in getting back on line on time. One way to keep on schedule is to not announce the updates in advance. That way if there is a problem getting them all implemented, just skip the problem and get back on line on schedule. Handle the problem with the next downtime. If the problem is critical, they we players will understand if the downtime must be extended. But when missing a completetion time, please post that online ASAP.
People seem to think they are entitled to something here.
We agreed to be part of testing.
Extended downtime is part of the process.
We suffer so future games will not have to.
If you are finding it too difficult to deal with the downtime, shut off your computer, go outside and take a walk, play frisbee, DO something.
