Yes currently there is maintenance going on, I don't have details as to when it will be back up. Please be patient and check back later.
I couldn't help it...I created an account on die siedler online to tide me over until the beta comes back online. lol XD
Maintenance is done, and server is back enjoy guys.

Using hardwood and marble for the new wells and fields just doesn't seem worth it.
