Potential Bug - guard dog attack order

I did a battle i knew i was going to lose trying to test things to make sure the combat simulator is working right.

The potential bug is the fact that the first unit the guard dogs attacked was my general. I thought i had read some where that the enemy will never attack the general unless all other units are dead. If that is true then the guard dogs should not have killed the general before moving on to other units.

I have had this happen in 2 attacks now.

The first think the guard dogs attacked both times was my general. it did not matter what the other troops were, the guard dogs always hit the general first it seems.
