[UBI] What do you think of the changes made in the 8/3 patch?

    Hey Testers!

I was wondering what you thought of the changes made in the 8/3 patch. Give us your feedback below!

For those of you who didn't read the patch notes:

    Game Changes
    • The provision house now produces stacks of goods/buffs. The slider defines how large the stack should be. The prices remain unchanged.
    • Buff stacks produced in the provision house can now be applied until the stack is depleted. The stack size is displayed on the mouse cursor during buffing.
    • Changed the loot tables of adventures. You now find more granite and tropical wood. The more advanced resources have been moved to medium and rare adventures.
    • Community Request: Due to your feedback, we set the trade cooldown to 10 minutes.
    • Community Request: Due to your feedback, we introduced 2 new buildings: medium wheatfield and deep well, which now contain 400 wheat and 1500 water respectively. You can find them in the build menu.
    • Battle reports from adventures are now labeled as such
    • Battle reports where the general was misled to another bandit camp are now labeled as such
    • Localization on building fixed!
    Shop Changes
    • The artisan well and the packed wheatfield now have new graphics to distinguish them from the other 2 versions.
    • The love potion now lasts 12 hours and doubles the population growth rate.
    • The improved drill plan now lasts 12 hours and halves recruitment time.
    • The refill of the iron diviner now has 750 content while keeping the price
    • Three new adventures are available in the shop: The Nords, the Dark Priests, and Stealing from the Rich

I think moving the production error info being moved to the details page is kind of annoying.

    Provision House:
How about the ability to apply stacked buffs as they are produced rather than having to wait until the stack is complete

    Trade Cooldown:
That's fine but how about a function that allows you to post multiple trades?
I would also like the option to send requests for multiple acquisitions of the same deal. Then if there is an offer for 100 planks and I want 400 then I can send 4 requests?

    Tier 2 wells and fields:
Not my cup of tea. Great idea for those who like them.

    Battle Report in re General:
    Great Idea.

I love the added hover over features on the map.

You guys are doing a great job.

Some of it is alright, though there's a couple of things that's a little off.

    1) What's with the can't add soldiers to your generals until all of them are finished training? It's more of an annoyance than anything else, but still strange (and undocumented)

    2) Having to wait until all your buffs are finished creating from the provisions house before being able to use them is pretty crappy. It makes creating more than a few buffs at a time pretty useless, unless you're just trying to stock up on them.

    3) I agree with Fubs, showing a red circle around what you're missing on an exclamation marked building in the overview tab was a lot more convenient.

    4) Personally, I'm not going to use the advanced materials for wells or fields. Yeah, I understand they need to be more expensive, but using hardwood and marble for it just doesn't seem like a great idea. Making them use the simple materials just only like... 1.5 times the cost or something of that sort sounds a lot more useful.

Hopefully I don't sound too ungrateful
When life gives you lemons? Don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your **** lemons! What am I supposed to do with these!
On hiatus from the game currently.

Love the stack feature on the buffs. Was a bit dismayed this morning when testing it right away -- beginning with fish food and a small number of fish plates -- to find that I dropped 1000 fish into one pond. However, the ability to roam around and buff my and friends' sites without having to do tons of clicking is really nice.

I just make singles and/or short stacks if I'm time crunched. I do think, though, that had I not tested it first this morning, and been hit with a 5 hour queue for a large sandwich stack as happened to people, that perhaps I might not be feeling so favorable right now. It would also be good to have a cancel button on the stacks and to have the unused materials for the remainder of the stack that was unprocessed, returned to the storehouse as was the case before when cancelling.

Initially, my cursor countdown on the stacks glitched, but then began working fine all day.

Advanced wells and fields, I would probably only use if I was going on vacation or something. But in that case, I would probably just put my farms and breweries to sleep.

Really appreciate the rollover information on the fish ponds and mines.

Thanks to all those who work hard behind the scenes.

I like how adding buffs was simplified by stacking them, however it is inconvenient that you have to wait for all of them to be completed before you can apply any(same thoughts with barracks and troops as once 1 is done he should be at the generals disposal). I also still think a sandwich should be slightly cheaper than the cost of 4 plates or the buff should last longer than 4 plates at least. I know its convenient, but I really don't see much point in them altho I'm looking forward to making basket buffs for when I'm away from game for extended periods.

As for the loot tables for adventures, that has to be my favorite update as it makes sense you should be able to get more advanced materials with more advanced adventures.

Trade cooldown has no effect on me yet as I'm unfamiliar with trade and am yet to make the branch office as my settlement is very self sufficient still

Medium well and medium wheatfield seem like a waste for minimally more res at the cost of advance materials. I will just build more cheap fields and upgrade wells as I see fit til I can unlock and utilize the final versions of each.(very happy about the 3rd versions for them

distinguishing battle reports was a "must be done" update and I'm grateful that it was done

It is nice being able to just highlight a building without having to zoom and click on it to see what resources are left for that building to still harvest respectively.

*All in all, thanks for the update and keeping the forum running smoothly and in timely fashion. I'm just happy that there was some type of update done and within a short time of beta being released. That said, I hope routine updates will continue to be implemented as deemed fit and by popular demand *starts chanting PvP*

I really. really like the stacks for food buffs. I was literally JUST thinking about how cluttered my Star Screen was going to get and was hoping something like this could be introduced. It took just a little bit to get used to but now I just plan ahead more when dealing with food buffs! Now if only we could combine stacks of like buffs...

The new well & field look like they will better suit my needs once I get to that point.

Do you get a warning message if you are going to delete a Loot Mail from a battle before you've claimed the loot? I'm terrified I'm going to do this on accident.

I am not a fan of most of the update.
The idea behind stacking buffs was overtaken because you have to create several small batches anyway. Ordinarily, I was placing 25 sandwiches or fish plates in the queue at a time. I can't do that now, instead I still have multiple buff windows. Don't know exactly what the thinking was here.
I HATE that soldiers can not be used as they become ready. Here again, I am doing more clicking by making smaller groups of soldiers.
The buff counter doesn't work and buffs now take a long time to take, if at all...several times the object would flash, but the buff didn't take.
Server time outs have increased substantially, and to the point it takes me 5 or 10 minutes to get back in.
