Can't Login since patch

I've tried 3 separate PC's, and 3 Separate browsers, even a different ISP. Same problem.

Could somebody PLEASE help?

Still no go. Tried s'more browsers and re-installs. Is there ANYTHING, anything at all that I could try that I haven't already that might help. If my account needs to be restarted, then do it. I cant test the game for you if I cant "play now" ;P

Try clearing your cookies and cache from your internet history. That should work.

Did that. On all three browsers. Even re-installed all three. BTW what extentions does CE use? I've even tried re-installing extentions where appropriate.

If somebody could make a "save point" and wipe my empire I'll tell you if that works.

I dont know if anybody did anything there, but now I'm getting some progress, the game now loads the backdrop for the loading sequence with the rainbow strip in the bottom then freezes before it starts to fill in. What did I do differently? Nothing other than increase voltage to my ddr2 by about .05 volts cause I noticed the mobo was undervolting the memory spec. And before you ask, I did try over volting it and CPU to see if it remedied the problem.

UPDATE:
The game has reverted to the old refresh again, not even making it to the "loading" screen anymore. Nothing has been installed or modified on this end.

Sorry to make the conversation thread sound one sided, but I'm getting no response from anybody in the dev-shed. I figure it's just best to post any changes I'm getting as they occur for these last couple days, before I go to another Beta. Hopefully nobody else has been stricken by this bug, and if nobody hears from me by then, sorry. You can always e-mail me for those of you who have it. I'm probably completely outee...

No change today. A friend of mine said that my empire was VERY buggy when visiting. Buildings weren't loading, fishplates weren't working on some buildings and they got stuck there once and had a hard time visiting, i.e. it took several seconds to minutes as opposed to active players empires.

Not sure if this helps the devshed or not, but it's about all I can think of. Perhaps when the game comes out of beta my game will unstick. Since this is the second account I've had give me this problem in the first place and I live by the "fool me once/no third strike" policy, I won't be creating a third.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Again not sure who or if anyone has taken a look at the account, but I was able to get the game to run on Firefox (latest) but not on IE or Chrome. This was after the third FF install this week. Tracing back the steps I performed nothing could have really been associated. I modified the taskmgr to process explorer. Re installed a bunch of standard softwares such as Java and adobe, including the 3 browsers. I disabled/re-enabled aero, turned on a swap file and back off again. Disabled UAC and re-enabled it. and a ton more stuff to numerous to detail here. Lets just say I do this for a living and THOROUGHLY ran through the processes of elimination and am at a loss.

So the next question is why? If a dev from the devshed would like to TeamView in, voice chat and take a look around I would not object. For now it appears my indefinite leave has been extended because this plays to my OCD and need to figure out the problem so it doesn't affect anyone else if it hasn't already. Most people would have given up by now, and I may yet. Tuesday is still a day+ away...
