What I do is to log out when I am ready to go afk or when I think it is about to kick me out. Then log back in right away for 3 hours. If it logs out while I am gone, then I can still read the last page of news for anything improtant that happened. By using this method I am hardly ever the victum of a log out while playing.
If something can go wrong, it will.
It's happens usually 8-9 times a week to me.
funny thing is...i can set my geologist to search for coal (4 hours) and come back and i'm still in but every day at least once it times me out while I am doing something in the game...building, chatting, trading...ect...
HIGHLY FRUSTRATING!!!
this is happening to me almost constantly(every couple of minutes) on my home pc(win7), but on my work pc(xp) yesterday it ran all day no problem. today on my laptop(xp) had no problem running the game for over an hour now.
I've timed out several times while active (maybe 5ish times) since I started playing the game.
I've also timed out while not active many times but there doesn't seem to be any set time. I've left the browser open overnight and still been logged in in the morning, other times I leave and come back in 20 minutes and it's timed out.
I normally get logged out while in the game. However, I am still able to play the game in some cases while in others the server call fails (as is stated by the error box that I get) thus kicking me out of the game. Sometimes I don't notice that I've been logged out until I try to go to the fora, but I can still play the game. It's kind of odd.

It is happening at least 2-3 times every day:
1. Chat box disappears;
2. Licenses aren't available after a building tear down. Need to log out/in to get the license.If I have a building either in que or waiting for resources, the available license will not be available until the building in que is completed;
3. Tonight, there is no trade box.
For most of Nov. I haven't been timing at all. But in this latest maintenance I've timed out badly during 'Stealing the Rich' Adventure.
